Happy Birthday Melanie....Did you saw it up for firewood? It's rainy and cold here today too.I hate when it's like an all day rain.Dogs with the exception of Rumsfeld hate rain...It's no picnic standing outside with them to go either and we are on a rotating system...First the cavs.I can't send Rums with them because JLO hates him. Can't send Rums out with Jiggs or Ricky...He hates them both.I can't send Ricky or Cavs with Dixie but I can send her out with Rumsfeld...Did I mention that I hate rain...All my furry friends smell...

Good morning Posse! Sorry I didnt check in earlier Drott. Granted, it wouldnt have been 3am, but Im normally in around 7:00 or so. But I took the day off to get to the DMV. But I was postponed by this:


Dont let the picture fool you. The base of that "branch" was 2' across. And the entire length of it was close to 40'. Not to mention the added weight from the 7 days of rain that is what brought it down in the first place.

Melanie woke us up this morning at 7:30 by jumping on our bed (literally, jumping) and yelling "ITS MY BIRTHDAY ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!" My grandmother sent her $5 and Mrs E took her to the dollar store after I cleared the driveway. She got a jump rope, a puzzle, silly string, gummy worms, and these:


But now the tree is gone, Melanie is happy, CJ is crying, and Mrs E is back from the store with stuff to make nachos for Melanie's birthday dinner, Im headed out to the treasurer and DMV to finally get plates for the bike.

Oh, JD, happy anniversary dude!


"early" is also subject to perspective. It was after 10:30 before I crawled in bed.

Good morning Posse! Sorry I didnt check in earlier Drott. Granted, it wouldnt have been 3am, but Im normally in around 7:00 or so. But I took the day off to get to the DMV. But I was postponed by this:

Under a tornado watch now. Melanie's birthday nachos may not happen if we lose power.

But, I'm back from the treasurer and the dmv. $6 in taxes. $85 for title, tag, and registration. But it's finally offically mine!!! And i can now legally take it on the road!

So Friday night/Sat morning I got to go to the ER. Everything was spinning, limbs were heavy, couldn't walk straight, violent vomiting. Turns out I had my first experience with vertigo and was dehydrated. Good times, indeed.

I'm beat now. I got my sisters dogs groomed this morning. When I got home I painted the bathroom. Managed to fall off the counter right intro the pan of paint. but the painting in that bathroom is done. Now hubby needs to put the new floor down and that bathroom will be finished!

The floors are swept and mopped and the poor parakeets have been "buried". Now I'm chasing a very active puppy.

I was awake at 3am, and checking Google maps for traffic before leaving for work. I should have popped in here to say Hi but didn't think anyone would be around!

HeLl those dammm little ants are back. They didn't show up last year. Thought they were gone.

Andy just came home from girlfriend's house a little while ago, and geez he brought way too much home with him! A full pan of lasagna, a full pan of meatballs, a whole cheesecake, a half a large cooler of beer, and about 5 bottles of assorted booze! The really funny part is that Ian wanted to stop at the Total Wine store when we came back from the party, and I bought a couple bottles of wine and 2 bottles of booze!

The storm blew through pretty quickly. But it was nasty for about 15 minutes. Now the sun is shining. We went to bring Kat home from another friend's house, and ended up bringing her friend home too. The nachos were a hit! My queso came out perfectly. I ate more than I shouldve and Im hurting right now. Im probably not going to eat breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I was thinking about taking the bike out now that its pretty, but now I doubt I would be able to lay down on the gas tank comfortably with my gut so distended.

You betcha! I liked them so much, a got a few more in one of the co-ops. I like them better than the stardusts, easier to clean and change heads, since I had the old style stardusts that didn't change.

I found out I'm better off putting multiple flavors into evods than in big ol' carto tanks. I switch around too much, always wanted to change flavors when the bigger tanks were about half full.
