Soooooo....we had practice today. Half the team showed up. The half that was my team during the season. I double checked my email, and sure enough, we were at the right field at the right time. Then I checked my texts... The head coach changed it to 7:30... AFTER we got to the field.

I did get to ride the bike to practice today. I got some funny looks from parents and players when I stripped off my jeans. Dont worry... I had shorts on under them. I figured it would be easier to do that than to change in a nasty public bathroom. I now have a total of 21 miles on it since I got it. I know I know... Im a wild man that cant be stopped. But its good to recognize the fact that I am getting more and more comfortable on it every time I take it out. With any luck, I'll be able to be comfortable enough to take it to the company picnic next Friday, and then to my next poker night (also next Friday).

I did have to replace the battery in the van. When I hooked the jumper cables up, there was no pull on the truck's idle... that battery was DEAD. Took it out, ran it up to the parts store, gotta new one... $120......put it in and then tried to figure out what caused the drain. I reset the auto door opener/closers so the side doors would shut. But when I locked the van, the interior lights stayed on. All 12 or so of them. Sure enough... Mrs E had left the interior light switch in the on position. But, its working now. Now I just need to scrape up another $100 or so to replace the battery in the Accord. OR.... I could just ride the bike every where I go. Its kinda short on storage space though.

And Im off to bed. Gonna be another "wonderful" day tomorrow. Today was full of my post-PTO recovery. Now its time to actually get caught up....again.

Goodnight Posse!!!

TaDa!!!

Poor Grimm!

Yay! He likes you! Finally, your OWN dog!!

That is fabulous!!

Poor Sallie! :(

I'm finally caught up on my work. I now have a sneaking suspicion that my religions professor is actually conducting a blind sleep deprivation experiment. I've had a bedtime past 4am for three days over the last week. Grr. I can survive without sleep, but my patience goes out the window.

Thank goodness for Chick-Fil-A. I can work, have an Asian salad, and let the kids loose in the play area. It's beautiful. I think I may just move in there.

Mr. Doom let the kids watch Austin Powers last night (all three movies). I'm really hoping the crude humor went over my younger two's heads. I loved Space Balls as a kid, but had no idea how crude it was until I watched it again as an adult. So... Hopefully Austin Powers is their Space Balls. Fingers crossed.

Hope everyone had a good day!

I don't know how you do school with kids.

We'll see how Ruger attaches to me as time goes by but hopefully he'll choose me!

I do it by ingesting mass amounts of caffeine and making sure I take every Saturday night off. Even if my night off only consists of a video game or book accompanied by some form of liquor. :)

I say SMOTHER him with attention so he has no choice but to pick you! It sounds like you're off to a good start!

You can't have it but I know where you can get one...
Are you kidding me? $700.00? Just come here.It will cost you $100.00 for gas and about $300.00 for a whole mouth...Save $300.00.

 I like the way you think. One of the guitars could have covered it. One of the more expensive guitars.

OMG, I LOVE IT! Can I have it?

Well.. it wasn't as bad as I imagined it would be, but the estimate for one tooth this morning was $700. Maybe we should move to PA and thank goodness we're not still in NJ.

The Roush is safe, my mods are safe, but Lenny's guitars...

*thanks for the idea JD!

You definitely deserve the night off. I too survive on a caffeine diet.

I feel so bad for you.If he can finally fall asleep he may sleep thru the night with all those meds.
When we picked Grimm up at the vet he wouldn't stop whining. The vet said it's normal. He's not in pain, he's just confused by all the pain meds he's hopped up on. He said he would probably act unsettled and be whiney all night. He wasn't kidding. This dog hasn't stopped whining once. Any idea what it's like to listen to a dog cry for 4 hours straight.

If I hadn't already started vaping again, I think this would have been what propelled me right back into it. Is it morning yet!?!

The estimate I got for neutering Ruger is around $250 or so. I didn't think that was so bad.

I have 3 vets to pick from for Ricky and each one has different prices.I'm taking Ricky to the one where he isn't required to spend the night...about $200.00.

I love the cool wraps with spicy dressing. And their peach milkshakes.

Their peach milkshakes are incredible.

They break my heart every year when they switch to the candy cane ones. Candy cane milkshakes are ok, but they've got nothing on the peach. They should have peach all year round here. I mean, we have like a month of cold weather.
