I dont get this coach... She's the head coach of the All Star team, and she JUST NOW decides that its time to have what I would call a true practice. TWO DAYS BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT. She was also aware of the uniform design WEEKS ago... and we had to bring it up to her what color pants and socks she wanted us to have.... And I have to be up at 4:30 in the morning, and she wanted to let practice go over by a half hour.... Even Kathryn... the kids who loves everyone... said "Daddy, I dont like her as a coach..." And I can now see why so many parents were begging me to pick their daughter for my team at the beginning of the season.
I did get to get on the bike this evening. I may need to take something apart to check the cooling fan though. I went into an empty parking lot to work on slow speed turns, and the temps kept climbing up. They are normal when Im at speed, but way too high when going slow.
ignore listen to the wife drone on about something... Still not sure what... talking to a friend online and trying to figure out when we can meet up for poker and beer, AND trying to unwind from the day so I can get to sleep tonight....

Hey guys, been really getting slammed for the past few months, still looking at properties, but it's a taxing ordeal. Wife had a slight (boom) crash on the mountain bike requiring some stitches and then the AC quit working, so I guess as long as the CC juice doesn't run out, things will be OK.

I'm stepping into this VERY late, but fear not FV, you already have much respect for what, how, and how fast you do it. I for one do NOT want my House pulled from a shelf, but much prefer your magical hand mixing as usual.

Its beyond frustrating. She knows the game. Probably more so than I do. But when it comes to coaching, she is woefully inadequate. We have yet to go over any signals or signs. So communicating with the players will have to be done verbally. And the most progress seemed to have happened when it was me and the other assistant coach running practice.
But to answer your question, I am just an assistant this go around. Her team had the better record (by one game), so the head coach position defaulted to her.
