We need pics.Hahahaha
I need that cookie. And a quart of milk to go with it please.

This morning started with a jail break from the coop. Somehow they managed to push the screen door open and I had chickens everywhere. 6am chicken herding is not the best way to start the day. But it was hysterical.

good to see you punkin!

A trunk full of chickens? Really? Fabulous...
Hey Pumpkin good to see ya. Yes went to Roots. Ended up putting the birds in the trunk of the car though. Started thundering right when I was catching them. Didn't want drowned birds. Hubby's at the car wash now vacuuming the trunk.:lol:

Trust me, if you didn't buy the punch FV sells, you don't have the best carto punch. If you have any trouble judging hole size with the carto punch you have, you need to buy FV's punch. I have 5 other punches, some that look identical, some that cost 3x more. They area all decent punches, but they all suck in comparison. With FV's, I just punch the carto twice, once on each side at the bottom of the carto. No problem judging the size of the hole. Just screw it all the way in. You can't punch it too deep. It's set up so that it makes the perfect size hole every time if you just screw it all the way in. Perfect every time.

    A little late, but I couldn't agree more ^^^^^

Went home for a bit because I was feeling creepy. I refuse to get sick. Anyhoo, back at it here.

Computer question: My laptop is getting old, really old. So I am looking for a new one and stumbled across the all in one pc's. Do any of you have one of them? I don't want a full desktop at hut 1, I use my laptop at the dining room table. Opinions?

I'm the man with the plan. :) Most people that I know, and have tech'd, who have all in ones, hate them. Please take this with a grain of salt, but most claim to be perfect for everything, and actually suck at most things. I don't know what you need to do with your new PC (that should dictate everything), but I've had stellar results with more than a handful of HP laptops (don't get me started on their All In One printers, or bloatware......), and have throughly vetted, abused, and used them, with little to no issues. Give me more on what you expect to do with it, and price point please.

After SPEED LIKING all the posts for 15 pages, I can't remember who made that mega-super-cookie, but I WANT ONE !!!!!!!!

I had talked to FV a while back about wanting to try out a good RBA, and the consensus seemed to be wait for a bit, and see how the units fared, and/or were improved. Anyone have any thoughts on a good, solid, easy to use RBA that won't be to picky ??

I see they have Zen's ZAP's back in stock at Provape.com, but saw some less than stellar reviews (recent). Anyone using the new ZAP's, issues ??

I haven't read any reviews of the new ZAP, but read comments by people in chat during the vape shows. Apparently the new ones use the ceramic wicks, which are VERY prone to breaking. But... you can always go back to the wire and mesh, or try silicone, or braided steel cable, or any of the numerous choices out there now. Just my opinion. :)

Yet one MORE success story, coming from the far east coast, on the barrier islands, NJ. Was out at a client site, and after a while, started talking with the owner, and a few of his customers. The talk then turned to the sucky state of affairs regarding over the counter ecigs. Couldn't NOT break out the Provari. Now although I wasn't loaded with my typical House, I did have to show them exactly how thick a fog cloud I could produce with my 24mg. Blackberry. At first, there was silence, then disbelief, and then the questions. So predictable, knowing that many of them have had their share of bad luck with over the counter, or "as seen on TV" ecigs. I think it's now getting to the point, where I'm going to have to print out business cards, with my proven suppliers, and of course, CC on the top.

Never gets old using the shock and awe to introduce people to something they've never seen, never will see in a store or commercial, and def. not in a convenience store, yet would probably just be the BEST bet they have, in kicking analogs to the curb, and get onboard with the Posse.

You're spot ON Bamrz. I had forgotten exactly WHAT the complaints had been, but you're right, the majority were due to the ceramic wicks. Maybe a few on loose caps, and/or too airy of a vape.

Sure would be nice to take a break from the carto ball-n-chain, and the allure of the RBA still has me in it's sights. I had no idea he had switched from mesh to ceramic. I've read and re-read the listing info but cannot see any info regarding (I thought he USED to offer this) a cap with a smaller hole for a tighter vape. Does he still offer that ?? Anyone have issues with loose caps or leaking ??

On ZAP's - all genesis/Zen's will leak! If they aren't kept upright, juice comes out the air intake, it's the nature of the beast.

Zen no longer offers the tighter airhole caps. Occasionally you'll see one in the classies.

It doesn't take long to get used to an airier vape. If you've ever used a Protank, it's a bit more airy than that. It's how they were designed to work. You can do various things to make the draw tighter, but IMHO it's a bit like taking the baffles out of your bike's pipes and not rejetting the carbs - it may sound great, but the manufacturer designed the original pipes for optimal performance. :)

All of my Zen caps have been loose and popped off easily when I first got them. Juice swells the o-rings up a bit, and after a while the caps don't pop off any more. I can pick any of them up by the cap and shake them (even a ZAP on a full size Provari with an 18650 in it) and the cap does not come off. They are now at the point where I could lay them down on their side with the airhole up, and no juice would leak onto my desk.

Tiff is fine, I talked to her earlier. She has stuff to attend to and won't be online for a few days. She'll be back, facepalms and all.

No pics were taken of the pajama dash chicken round up this morning. And I am grateful that Mr. V didn't think of grabbing the camera.

Back from picking up the sick truck and wanted to hug the mechanic. He did fix it's hiccups, but not the second problem. He said "I can order the $500 part and install it. Or I can order it and Mr. V can install it. OR, since this very rarely goes out, you can get one at the salvage place on Hwy 13 for less than $50." Bless him. Mr. V will go hunt one down tomorrow. It's the stupid cruise control, which wouldn't be a issue if no one here had a lead foot.

New laptop on hold due to pickup hiccup bill. drats.

    What did I miss?

Ok, I've had way too crazy a week. I'm going to have to disappear into my cave for a couple of days.

I have three days left for the first half of the summer semester, so I need to get my work all wrapped up for the classes I'm currently in.

Then I start my new classes next week. One's a 4-credit course and I'm thinking I've shot myself in the foot by signing up for it during half of an already short semester, along with a 3-credit course. I really hate split summers. I'd much rather take four courses all summer long. Grrr.

Sorry I didn't offer advice on the computer, V.

I haven't bought a PC in a while. I have a frankenputer. I bought it ages ago and I just keep changing out parts. By now I think the only original parts are the fan and the case.

I do have my laptop, but it was a going-back-to-school gift. And even my laptop has already been through an upgrade. Had to get a faster and higher capacity hard drive. Well, actually, I broke the first one (dropped the laptop), but of course I went bigger and better on the replacement, because well why not?

So anyhow, I know nothing of all-in-ones. Sorry!

Thanks a lot Bamrz. The cap thing really had me not so sure, but if they snug up, that puts it back into the plus column.

Amazon must have shorts. I don't wear them, so am not much help at all. I think I saw them in the last Kohl's flyer....
So does no one wear shorts anymore? I can't find any...I did however manage to spend 50 bucks on candles and bath and body wash...Sucks...
