Morning folks. Merry Hump Day.

Talking about the weather... In an unusual move a couple nights ago, I was watching the Weather Channel. They had a 3 month "forcast" they were talking about. It wasnt so much for pinpoint weather forcasts, but it focused on temp trends and what they are probably going to be over the next three months. The jet stream is bringing down colder than normal air from the north, and some how that draws up air from the Gulf of Mexico and off the south east coast, bringing more rain to everywhere from the Great Lakes to Florida. All of that rain fall is predeicted to keep temps "cooler" throughout the eastern states (and some northern mid-western states) while keeping GA and FL in a "much cooler" zone. I know normally by this time of year, we're nipping at the heals of triple digits, but so far, we've only hit 90 once or twice. And the way the jet stream is shaped, its keeping all of the moist air pushed away from the western and central states, keep them much drier, which in turn keeps them much hotter. So, while the east is dealing with abundant rain and cooler temps, the west is dealing with droughts and hotter than normal temps.

As far as the weather here today, 40% chance of rain and temps near 90. Right now its just cloudy.

Morning power only out 2 hours. 3 H in Pa. Again today. CDL test today.

And if you believe everything the weather people say you will more than likely be 50% correct. The only job I know where you can be wrong half the time and not get fired... I know the technology is improving and they are trying their best but sometimes I think these old bones of mine can predict weather changes just as accurately as they can.
