If we don't start laughing about it, I'll cry. We have lakes forming in our yard.
I have one forming in my basement. :(

And if you believe everything the weather people say you will more than likely be 50% correct. The only job I know where you can be wrong half the time and not get fired... I know the technology is improving and they are trying their best but sometimes I think these old bones of mine can predict weather changes just as accurately as they can.
Weather has always been iffy. They can't predict farther than 3 days in advance with any degree of accuracy, even with all the modern equipment. I always check the weather the night before, and again in the morning if I have to know what's up.

Hey Drott, I screwed up and I need your expert advice. :)

When I gave Andy the purple bike, I forgot what the mileage was and really over estimated. Instead of having somewhere around 40K miles, the paperwork says around 70K miles. He was told he could take the paperwork form the last 3 times he had it inspected, but he hasn't been getting it done regularly. So basically, there's only paperwork for his last inspection a few months ago.

Is there any other way to get this straightened out so he will be able to sell the bike to the nice lady? Hopefully one that does not involve riding it all the way to Harrisburg???

Yes, I am a screaming idiot.

Mornin' folks. Sorry I didnt check back in last night. The majority of my players that moved up into the next age bracket this season went to one team. They made it to the league championship game, and I had to go see them play. It was a VERY good game, but we took a hard fought loss. And I was angry about it. Not because of the loss itself, but because of HOW it happened. The players and parents of the other team figured out that screaming and taunting our pitcher distracted her enough to throw her off her game... And they made it a point to be as loud and as obnoxious as they could. Its one thing to see poor sportsmanship from the players... but it is entirely uncalled for from the parents. Oh, and I didnt mention that roughly half of the other team has played for/with us in the past? I couldnt believe it.

We joined the team for a post season pizza buffet at Cici's. I dont know how much I ate... I lost count somewhere around my 5th plate. So thats an approx minimum of 15 slices of pizza. Plus one slice each of the two dessert pizzas. Plus two more cinnamon rolls. And to think, the scale actually said 215 yesterday morning! I was too scared to get on it today. :D

I have one forming in my basement. :(
Me TOO!!! It hasnt gotten bad enough to fire up the wet vac yet... The two dehumidifiers seem to be keeping up with it alright. For now, at least.

Good news we added 8 more languages to our test machines. So in a month or so we'll be able to do away with interpreters. Their not happy.
It would be easier if everyone spoke American.

Good morning!

I can no longer say today is my Friday because I decided to work tomorrow after all. Fortunately I like what I'm doing at work right now so I don't really mind. I'm able to move my free summer Friday off to next Friday, which I was taking off anyway, and save myself a vacation day. So bonus there.

Since tonight is nails night I'd better get going. Lots to do at work.

I hope everyone has a great day!
