Today I take Granny's dogs to the vet for her. Time for their yearly shots. Morgan and Alex are supposed to go to lunch with hubby's parents today. Today's project is harness vests. Only have 2 patterns left to cut out and then I can start sewing all 14 of them together. My living room has turned into a dog accessory store.

Good morning.

Same old same old here too. I can't wait for this weekend. I have 3 days off. We were supposed to go out to dinner with the hair salon crew this evening after my hair appt, but I'm thinking we might skip it. I have a full on head cold. There is nothing so attractive while you're eating than somebody sitting at the table with you sniffling and blowing their nose.

I liked it for the 3 days off, not the head cold. Hope you get better soon!!

I super glued my foot to the basement floor when I was a kid.

Did you say "I'm OK!!!" ?

Hairy Wine Night cancelled?

Good morning! I think I'm half dead this morning. If I get through work and school today, it's only gonna be because of caffeine!

Rick, I only liked it because you're alive and kicking.

Another exciting day of staring at the tracking number over here. It still has not moved.

And good morning!

Unbelievable on the shipment. Did they ship it by mule?!?

Still no James or Punkin.

Yeah, unlike them to be MIA this long....

Hey folks. Sorry Ive been away so long without checking in. Work has gotten worse, if you can believe it. My manager set goals in my performance review that are unattainable. On purpose. Douche Canoe is telling him that I need to improve yada yada. Manager said, I know you cant reach these goals, but thats what he wants. Do the best you can.

You know its bad when you walk into a meeting with your boss, and the first thing he says is "So... Are you ready to quit yet?" As a matter of fact I am. And if I had something lined up, I would be gone so fast all you would see is a dust could.

Between work and softball, I havent been able to find the energy to even open the computer when I get home. We get home anywhere from 9:30 to 10:00 at night, and its a scramble to get the kids all showered and in bed as quickly as possible. Then Mrs E and I usually arent too far behind them.

As much as I hate it, I dont know how often Im going to be able to get online during the week anymore.

I told y'all that CJ spent all day barfing Sunday. Not to be outdone, Melanie decided it was her turn Monday. Mrs E was still out of town, so I already had the day off to get the kids to and from school. Unfortunatley, my plans of doing absolutely nothing turned into a day of nothing but laundry, cleaning vomit off of floors, and spraying the whole house with a bleach/water mix to sanitize everything.

The softball game we had scheduled Monday was postponed to yesterday because of rain. Then the game we had scheduled Tuesday was cancelled (for now) because the fields were still wet. Because of the multitude of games being rescheduled, our practice blocks got cancelled. We now have a double practice scheduled for Saturday. Naturally a large chunk of my team wont make it because theyre going out of town for Spring Break.

Last night's game really wasnt all that bad. Mainly because the other team wasnt nearly as good as the first team we played. We lost by one, but wouldve been by a lot more if it wasnt the last inning. Kat's pitching is getting better, but she started to tire out by the end of the third inning. We held the lead all the way through the game until the final inning. After two games, the girls are starting to see how much they are improving on both defense and offense. I keep trying to tell them that the only way to make the right changes is to keep coming to practice. Ive been running a tough schedule this season, usually on the field 4 nights a week with a Saturday thrown in for good measure. Parents are pretty much hating me right now because of it. But Im hoping that with the girls seeing the improvements that they convince their parents to keep bringing them to every practice possible so they can keep getting better.

So.....what did I miss around here?

I'm glad to see you're ok James! Missed you around here but understand things get hectic. Sorry about the job issues. I hope you can find something else so you won't hate going to work. I hope the kids are over the stomach bug and that you and Mrs. E don't get it too.

I have to be prepared for the craft show in May. I'll never get it all done if I don't work on it every day. And I'm now at 40 bandanas and when I finish the harnesses I think I'll have 25. Then it's on to belly bands, collars, collar ruffles, tutu's and soap. I'm gonna be dead when this is over.

Mrs E is already sick. She's fighting sinus problems thanks to the pollen.

Im too awesome to get sick. Seriously. It doesnt happen often.

And now, Ive got to get back to work.

Y'all take care. I'll check back in whenever I get the chance. If y'all start to get worried again, have Tiff email me or shoot me an IM. FV can email me too. I know for a fact she has my address!

I'm home from taking Granny's dogs to the vet. I almost choked when they gave me the total. And it isn't even my money. Morgan went with hubby's mom to have lunch and shop. Alex did not go with his granddad and cousin out to lunch because him and his cousin got in a big argument. They've been doing that a lot lately. Wish he would tell me what's going on. Anyway, I'm home....dogs have been out....dishes washed ~ dishwasher part isn't in yet :(.....Now I'm going to update my spreadsheet Sallie so kindly made for me with the 40 bandanas I did. It'll take a while and then I'm going to take a nap before Morgan gets home. Back later....

Everytime you say you don't get sick, you get sick. The pollen is giving me fits too. My sinuses are feeling awful but at least I'm not sick like last week. I was actually going to IM you today if we didn't hear from you. :)
