Morning folks.

So, yesterday, I had to take my work truck in for service. Last month I took it in for a coolant leak repair, and they said "There's no problem". Ok. That odd antifreeze smell and the fact that there was no coolant in the reservoir.... fine. Nothing's wrong there. Well, last week, I got to work and there was steam billowing out from under the hood. I topped off the reservoir again, and yesterday, took it back to them and said, "Look... This is the second time Ive brought it up here for the same problem. There IS a coolant leak, and I will not accept the truck back until you find and fix it." At 3:00, I hadnt heard back from them, so I called for an update. "Oh, yeah, we had to replace the thermostat housing". Well good job captain. Will I be able to get my truck back today. "Yeah, we should be done by the end of the day". What do you consider the end of the day. "Right around 5:30". Well thanks again captain, I leave work at 4:00. So, I get in the community cargo van to go home. This morning, I get everything ready to go.... no key. I know I had the key, because I got home... And naturally, there is no key ring or fob... just a single black key. I cant find it. I looked in the van around the van, yesterdays clothes....nothing. I make the call to the manager. He MIGHT have a spare, but I'll need to drive a personal vehicle in to work. Mrs E needs the van. The Accord needs brakes. The truck is about out of gas and we're kinda broke until Friday. Oh darn. That leaves the bike.

Boss man is less than pleased, and rightfully so. But at least I got to ride the bike on a gorgeous day!!!

Good morning!

James, what kind if pinhead doesn't have a spare key for a company vehicle? Glad it's nice day to ride, at least.
What kind of pinhead loses the only known key?! I'm seriously not happy about this. I am very absent minded, but I almost never lose anything. Especially not something this important. Bossman will check for the spare when he gets to the office later this morning, but I doubt he'll find one. That will mean a call to a dealership or something.

It was a slightly chilly ride this morning at 55 degrees. But it's going to be closer to 80 this afternoon. :D

Bossman didnt find any spares. He's letting me leave a half hour early for lunch to head home and look for it one more time. I'm going to go to the ballfield first. I'm hoping I dropped the key out of my pockets while I was there. If not, I'll head back home and scour the house again... If I cant find it, we'll have to go to Douche Canoe to let him know. I'm not sure what happens after that.

Monday # 2 for James.

Drott's dog shack on the move.
You know me. I like a quiet and simple life.

I FOUND IT!!!!

Actually, Mrs E found it. She called me on her break for something else, and I asked her to dig through the van while she was on break. She called me back as I was on the way out the door to go look myself letting me know she found it. So, I went back inside, changed back into my riding gear, and rode the bike to the store, got the key, went home, changed clothes, ate lunch in less than five minutes, hopped in the cargo van and went back to work. Bossman is happy again!

Now that Ive taken a 2 hour lunch, I better get some work done.

Y'all have a good day!

Oh, FV, I hope you got a giggle out of the notes on my order. ;)

Time to go home. To leave for practice. Its awesome. Drive 45 minutes home (in average traffic), pick up Kat, drive an hour to get to practice.... Her practice field (for this team) is about 10 minutes away from the warehouse.

But thank you for not asking me to draw something. Last week I had to draw a cat. It was not pretty.
Was there any particular reason for having to draw a cat???

I prefer little funnies than setting tasks for you. I figure you do enough for me.

Only thing I can draw is a gun. The artistic talent skipped me, too.

James, glad you found the key!
Dont feel bad. I mess up stick people... But oddly enough, I can draw a decent dog in profile.

I used to be able to draw. Since the shoulders thing, not so much anymore. Heck, I miss my mouth when I eat now. You think I'd lose weight. Nope.

We just got Jake home. They had to pull 15 teeth. Poor old guy can't walk, we had to borrow their lift thing to get him out to the car. Then I ran back in and bought a lift, we had to use it to get him in the house. I hope he regains his back end soon, he's heavy. And he's sad. Victor is laying next to him with worried eyes. We're not going back to work today. More fun for tomorrow.

Morning!

I have backup keys for the backup keys. Mr. V is notorious for losing keys.

Jake is getting his teeth cleaned right now, Victor is not very happy at being alone. oh oh.
I have no spares for the bike or the Jeep, makes me a bit nervous. Why do people not include a second key when they sell a used vehicle??

Poor Jake. :(

James, so glad to hear you found the key!!
