Hubby's out finishing up shopping. Only one more day of work before I'm off for 4 days in a row. I started training a new groomer at work today. She seems nice. She was on time so that's a good start. She mainly just shadowed me and asked questions today.

Busy day in the Efird house. Ive got Melanie on her hands and knees scrubbing the floor. She decided that she was going to take Play Doh into the living room and play with it on the wood floors. I have insisted that they not be able to play with that mess since they never get it cleaned up when theyre done, but Mrs E disagrees. Then I end up looking like the mean parent when I make them clean it up. Anywho, a splash of wood soap and a scrub brush might be enough to remind them to keep it on the disposable table cloths that we have for just that reason. Ive got CJ sweeping (he never does it well, but he hates doing it, making it the perfect punishment for being bad during the week). Kat's already done dishes and laundry. Next on the list is cleaning and vacuuming bedrooms, then nap time. For ALL of us.
After naps, Mrs E should be home from work, then we get to go to my dad's house for our Christmas gathering. Its never a good thing, mainly because my witch of a stepmom gets drunk and aggravates everyone. Her brain/mouth filter never works right to begin with, and the wine just makes it worse. Tomorrow, we go to my stepmom's family's get together for more "fun". I hate this part of the holidays. It'll be better once Christmas Eve rolls around, but right now is absolute torture.

So hubby just got home from shopping and makes me go to the other room while he brings something in. We're not supposed to be buying gifts for each other this year.
Mr. V does the same darn thing. And leaves me scrambling to get him something. ugh.
I survived today!! 
There's a retirement party tonight for one of my favorite co-workers, so I should be back later. Hopefully the food is good!

I'm not going to survive Morgan's teenage years. Girls are sooooo much different than boys.
15 + pounds of flour in the last 2 days. I'm done if I never see another cookie it will be too soon.

Wow. I don't need to bake cookies. I can just steal some from Drott, she'll never notice. 
Morgan doesn't want me to go shopping with her on her birthday. Its a tradition. We do it together every year.
