Taking Eleanor to the vet this morning for surgery. She has a few big masses that need to be removed.

We've had a couple of them tested when they were smaller and the vet said they were just fatty tissue. Hoping that's still the case. Poor thing hasn't had anything to eat or drink since 9pm and she's been in my office begging for my bottle of water. 
She's a total water dog and will drink 3 bowls full of water at once. She's staring at me right now with her sad eyes too.

Poor thing. They certainly have a way of making us feel bad with just a simple look. Let us know how she does.

Good morning before the storm. Their talking 10-14. We shall see. Toasty 6 degrees here at the shack.

Sorry for not being around lately but I have been very grumpy lately and didn't want to spread my "grumpyness" to my friends here. I noticed we are going to get hammered again with the weather so I better keep this short and go buy some bread and milk to follow the rules!

Mornin' all. Still at home for the moment. Nothing is falling yet, but they're still calling for 4-12 inches of snow before we get 1/4 - 1/2 inch of ice.
Correction. It IS snowing. Ive seen at least 10 snowflakes.
Ive got everything out to build my power cable to backfeed the generator into the house so we can have water. We cant run the heat pump or portable heaters that way, but we can at least have a couple of lights and enough power to run the well pump.

Mel is doing good. And since Kat brought it home, and Mrs E has had it, and Mel has had it, CJ is starting to get it. Im crossing crossables that I dont.Morning everyone!

Good morning. No bad weather here yet. It's all around us though. It's raining and supposed to turn to ice. We'll see. I went to bed early last night. I fell asleep with the laptop in my lap.

The last surgery I had was a hysterectomy and was supposed to take a little over an hour. It lasted 5, which was highly unusual but that ran into some issues! Hubby was less than pleased with the lack of updates.

I was watching one of those late night shows, and the host (I cant remember who, or what show), said that the GA govenor had already declared a state of emergency before the storm hit. He went on to say that residents of GA should go ahead and abandon their cars on the interstate now, while the weather is still nice.4-12 for you guys could be a disaster. Yeah, 4-12 here would shut is down. Heck, just the threat of 4-12 inches has almost shut us down.
OH! Mrs E took a picture of her grocery store yesterday. It looked like a scene from a post apocalyptic movie. Only one partial case of water on the whole isle. Absolutely NO milk in the store. And that included the soy stuff too.

Morning posse. Wife is doing ok. Still hurting but they took out the catheter and she was able to get up and take a shower.
