I Got the machine today.I am using it as a door stop...hopefully I will be able to play with it tomorrow. I got new tires today. Four of them...Of course during the 22 point inspection they found mythical creatures poking holes in my exhaust and it would cost me $700.00 to get rid of them.....

Man oh man do you have your hands full...I would have called an ambulance and let the hospital figure it out. That's stuff is sooo dangerous..

That's what we had done the last two times she had a neurological reaction and they did the same thing I did. Except the one before this one I actually had to use the epipen. I'm talking to the doctor when we go back about what we can do to get rid of some of this stuff. They always want to replace this one with that one. Then they put you on another one to help the first one to work better. Then they add this one to counteract the side effects of that one. It's ridiculous. I wouldn't let them put her on one because of that, but they have replaced one with another. My head is telling me to put a halt to this now. Obviously her body can't handle some medications and cause some strange reactions. And this time it wasn't even in the same class of meds as the other ones. You want to trust your doctors judgement but I'm really not feeling it right now.

I guess this little bit of snow could be considered "out like a lamb". It did come in like a lion.

I don't think Mary and her lamb have anything to do with it, but nicely done anyway.

I think everyone is ready for Mary and her lamb to go to heck away. We have had a very mild winter here. I think all our chilly weather went east.

Amazing. I tried to explain to a customer that for $2 more I could renew him for four years. We'll so and so told him this or that. I just work here don't believe me. So he paid $27 for 3 months instead of $29.50 for 4 years. dumb aaa

Sounds like everyone is having a nice day with decent temps, except FV's snow last night. It's 76 here right now. Feels great outside.

It's been one of those days for Morgan. We had to do a med change with Morgan last week and today she had yet another neurological reaction to this med. This is the third med she's had a neurological allergic reaction to. She had tremors so bad that she couldn't even write. Her head was shaking from side to side and her legs were wobbling. The school nurse called me three times in an hour. I was almost an hour away and was trying to get a hold of the doctor. I called the doctor, got recording. Called a few minutes later, got receptionist and explained it to her and told her it was very important that she get the message to him ASAP so I'd know what to do and whether it was a side effect or reaction to the new med. I got pizzed after an hour and called back. She said give her another twenty minutes. So she finally calls me back and said the doctor says to take her from 300 mg to 150 mg. I got MAD! She's only on 150 now! What the hill are you talking about? In the mean time, how do we get her to stop full body shaking? She says she'll have to talk to the doctor again. I decide to go pick Morgan up at school. After an hour there still no word from the doctor. I get to the school and my mouth almost hit the floor when I saw how bad it was. I immediately called the doctor back and told them that if I had to sit on the phone and wait I would but I wanted an answer now! They put me on hold and got disconnected. I gave her a benadryl to see if that would help. I didn't bother calling the doctor back. Talked to hubby and the benadryl has helped and we are NOT going to give her the med anymore. The doctors office JUST now called me back, two hours after the last call. I hate, hate, hate all these meds. I wish I could take her off everything and start over but that would require a trip to the hospital for a few days. She is fine now thank goodness. If you'd seen her you'd have thought someone was shaking her. It was awful. I'm just glad the benadryl helped. /rant.

OMG Tiff, so sorry you had to go through that nightmare. That would be justifiable homicide. ((()))

*running off to look*

trips, falls, I'm okay!!

LMAO!

 That gets me every time!

You too, huh?

I'd let the mythical creatures chew until the exhaust falls off. Funny how mechanics always find "something else".

Good Evening Posse!

(((Tiff)))

James hopefully it will be a good season for you'll! :)

Beth, good to see you! It's been too long. :)

Long, long day at the salt mines today. OTOH, I am making an offer to a truck driver candidate, so maybe the end of being short-handed on drivers is finally in sight.

Never believe them. Make them show Mr. ????. I had a mechanic tell me that I ruined my engine by not changing my air filter. He showed me this black, disgusting filter. I asked him to let me in by my car, where I proceeded to pull out my clean air filter and show it to him. My car was fine. I was in for an oil change.

Fire the doctor. Trust yourself, not him.

I went into one of those oil change places in VA advertising a really cheap deal with decent oil. They tried to tell me my carburetor needed to be rebuilt. Nope. I'm guessing he saw the base sticker on the car and figured "dependent, hubby at sea, $$$!" Actually, hubby just wouldn't let me work on my own car. :glare:
