Went to faster, He passed me the next day though.

We had to wait 30 days to retake the test. I was disappointed and relieved all at the same time. 30 days notice meant my mother could ask for the day off and take me to the test in her corolla. With the normal speedometer!

Speaking of pens...You know what else would make you feel better? CHICKENS!!!

screw what hubby thinks about them

But I don't know how to build a coop. But yes, chickens would help.

Yep, parallel parking. That's what I failed for. That and speeding. :D

I know, isn't it great? Even then I couldn't keep my foot off the accelerator. Although I do blame it entirely on my father. I learned how to drive on a normal old Pinto, and my father decides to pick me up and take me to the test in his brand new car with the fancy digital speedometer. This was of course *cough* 30 *cough* years ago, and digital speedometers weren't quite as well thought out then as they are now. I think the stupid thing was showing me gas milage and not speed while I was taking my test. Thanks Dad! :glare:

I remember Pintos. Those were some ugly cars.

My first ticket was speeding but I passed my test. I wasn't going to speed then!

I didn't get my first ticket until about 7 years ago. Haven't had one since. And I passed the first time.

Yes, the pinto was an ugly car. The only uglier that I can think of was a gremlin. I drove one of those too.

I've never heard of a gremlin car. Sounds kind of scary. When I think gremlin I think of the movie.

Oh it was scary alright. This one had no floor on the driver side so you had to keep your feet on the pedals or risk road rash. The driver side door was held closed by a bungee cord. When you took a left hand corner you had to hold the door closed with your left hand or risk hitting the car in the lane next to you with the door.

Been trying to get a hold of one of Morgan's friends mom tonight. Her daughter was the only other person in the classroom when the teacher said that to her and she heard her. Wanted to give the mom a heads up that I'm letting them know that another child heard it too.

My stomach is in knots. I do NOT want to go tomorrow. I guess I'm going to have to get up earlier to put on makeup and something other than jeans and a mossy oak tshirt.
