I'm waiting for my chicken stock to chill so I can skim it. French bread is cooling, wheat bread is on its second rise. Cajun sausage and the "trinity" are waiting in the pot for the stock. Shrimp are peeled and in ice water to stay fresh. Chicken is chunked and set aside. Once the gumbo is simmering in its final stage I'll start some rice.

Yay!!! Love kayfuns & that bag of cotton will last you years! I have used 3 cotton balls total in 3 months and that's because I kept dropping the wicks I'd pinch off onto the floor & would have to pinch off another one.

We had glass seats for the hockey game last night, courtesy of our account rep. It was nice sitting on the glass, but we both missed our regular seats and all the folks we sit near, since all the season ticket holders nearby get to be friends. We also lost 3-0.

JD, I'm so jealous. I love a crawfish boil. Stretchy, I love crab boils, too. I can order live Dungeness crabs from a restaurant near here, but they're h311ish expensive. Also, I'm with Mr. V. He's noticing the wigs, just doesn't want to say anything.
Today is the Indian chick's and my 6 year anniversary together. I sent her white roses (her fave) yesterday, and I'm making a pot of gumbo tonight at her request. I offer to cook her anything on Earth for dinner, and she picks gumbo.

I made my first visit to a local vape shop today (not for juice, let's get that out of the way now) for hardware. I picked up my first high end Mechanical mod. She's so pretty!
