Others have prolly already commented on your sig line (I just saw it on page #3) but thought I would throw this out there. I am on a fixed income, and a budget, so $60 per month is my tops for vape gear, that's just the way it is for me, so when I saw your sig line "Clones might be the only way a a ex-smoker may be able to vape from a decent atomizer. Who are we to judge? Vape it proudly!" It made me think back on all of those posts where the Arrogance of some that think they have the right to tell others how to spend their money and preach to the rest of us on the correct equipment to purchase based solely on whether it is Authentic or Clone is beyond me. I, for one, welcome your attitude on this very puzzling behavior of many, not only in this forum, but other forums as well. Thank You Marc, but, if one of those high and mighty folks would want to buy me a $180-$200 Skyline, I will surly except it with gratitude, and vape it along side my Coppervape SkyLine Clones (of which I just purchased one from FT to try out). ;) :thumb:

I just received Skyline , Hussar and Rose v3 from Coppervape. This is the first time i order clones. Mainly because i couldn't find the authentic ones, specially Skyline and Hussar.
The first impression is WoW, it looks like a very good quality. I will clean and build them later today and report back on my findings.

I own both the Coppervape Skyline and their Rose V3. I think the quality of their clones are astonishing especially considering the price. Their workmanship is excellent regardless of what you may think of those products you should appreciate how well made their clones really are. I would buy anything from Coppervape with confidence after owning these two. No I am not in any way associated with Coppervape so this is just my personal experience. Now having owned the Skyline I think it is somewhat overrated but does nothing to diminish the quality or the workmanship in the Coppervape product.

I used to be a pretty frequent contributor on ECF but now mostly post when I can help someone with information. I personally believe we lost our way, forgot about the ultimate goal and the divide is very evident right here on ECF.

I stopped vaping back in 2012 and at that time it was more about getting people off of smokes and talking about the new innovations that were hitting the market to improve the experience.

I can say that I am somewhat fortunate that I can afford an authentic RTA but came to the conclusion that these days there is really no good rational to spend the additional money. Some will say that it hurts the designer when you buy a clone, I say b_ _ sh_t. I've learned over the past couple years that designers can easily achieve the same goal and through strategic relationships. The can build nice devices at a lower price, maintain quality and maintain margins through higher velocity sales. They elect not to do it.

And you know who benefits, the consumer! Moderately priced devices that allow people to quit smoking.

At some point we lost our way and started making excuses for the people that sell $200 atty's. Regardless of anything that another member may post behind this thread there is a better way to provide quality gear to the masses. We just make excuses so we can feel elite with a $200 bobble that everyone can't afford.

I've stopped buying authentic's after I did my own comparison. The K4, K5, Hussar and Skyline being the most recent are very nice clones. They serve their intended purpose, quitting cigarettes.

The word arrogance is a perfect word to describe what the designers have done to the market. They have the ability to help but are more concerned about the revenue then they are getting people off of smokes. I would say exactly the opposite, the higher price authentic atty's are hurting the consumer, creating a divide and not assisting everyone as a whole get off of smokes.

That being said, my second Skyline clone is on it's way.

I agree completely with this. If you look at the mod market, there are tons of good quality authentic mods that are available in the $50 or less range. The clone market for mods has dried up because there is no longer a reason for it. There is absolutely no reason for a tank to be sold for $200 unless it is made from some exotic material.

But honestly if you can buy something that works as intended in every way like the authentic and its more readily available at a lower price then why not get it ,

I find the argument ridiculous from both sides. I never judged anyone by the brand cigarettes they smoked and I don't judge anyone by the vape gear they choose. I own both extremely high end gear and clone gear. Wanna hate me for it? Be my guest...somehow I don't feel like I'm losing anything in that deal.

Me too I own both , if ifz something i like and i think its worthwhile to me i will get it , but id like to try it before hand so if i can pick up a clone i will , i dont want to have to jump through hoops or buy/ win a chance to actually be able to purchase something , i think that causes more harm to the producer , if things where more readily available like mentioned earlier then there wouldn't be a thriving Clone market. The creaters actually feed the clone markets in some cases,

I still want to buy a spica RTA ,
but just dont want to have to risk my purchasing money by some shady western union transfer payment.
Since PayPal wont operate within Turkey due to fraud an such

If they ever become available outside of Turkey with an acceptable payment method.
I will gladly pay the retail price for it,
Or if in mean time a clone is released then that will have to suffice

Maybe you don't, but, there are plenty of cases where someone was on an "Authentic" thread and mentioned something about having a clone of the same thing and got Blasted for it really badly. That's when I realized that there are certain places where one doesn't talk about a clone. It's a shame really, but it does happen. You say that you don't judge, Good, but there are just enough that do to make things very interesting on some of the forum threads. What bothers me the most is when a New Member accidentally says the wrong thing about a clone and gets hammered for it. That is a real shame.

Yep, I've seen the same threads....then there's the authentic only guy who strolls into a clone thread. Same thing happens. Just goes to show, being rude has nothing to do with the price of your gear.
Then there's the folks that start the war on purpose. Some lonely and bored folks in the world.

Nobody hates you Asbestos4004 and nobody judges you for wanting to buy authentic tanks, you and I are in the same boat. As I said (or we since you posted) it's our choice. There should be freedom of choice without retribution as long as it's a path to getting off smokes. Why would anyone care how you get to be free of that poison?

And my apologies for the drift of this thread, it wasn't my purpose to take it off topic.

Just built the Skyline and the Hussar. First impressions, the built quality is very good. Hussar , very good flavor, vapor and TH from the first build. Skyline is nice flavor, vapor and TH. I will need sometime to play with the builds, but so far, the Hussar wins a big time
