From what I've seen, your options are very limited if you want pre-wound coils that are just plain old round wire coils. Most sold on USA sites anymore seem to be "specialty" coils, like clapton coils and such.

Realize that you still have to mount and wick the coil in your RTA/RDA/RBA. So basically you still have to do 2/3rds the work.

Here's a list of links to plain old round wire coils on FT...

    $0.95 Authentic MKWS N80 Pre-Coiled Resistance Wire for RBA Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - 28 AWG / 0.32mm dia. / 1.4ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    $1.29 Authentic MKWS Kanthal A1 Pre-Coiled Resistance Wire for RBA Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - 26 AWG / 0.4mm dia. / 1ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    $6.12 MKWS Kanthal A1 Pre-Coiled Wire (200-Pack) - 26 AWG / 0.4mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    $0.96 Authentic MKWS N80 Pre-Coiled Resistance Wire for RBA Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - 28 AWG / 0.32mm dia. / 1.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    $0.95 Authentic MKWS N80 Pre-Coiled Resistance Wire for RBA Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - 26 AWG / 0.4mm dia. / 1ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Here are 2 search links to find others in other resistances. The above are what I bookmarked but their may be others...

Fasttech - 100 packs of pre-coiled wires 100 at FastTech - Free Shipping to major countries

Fasttech - pre-coiled wires at FastTech - Free Shipping to major countries

As someone who has trouble doing tedious tasks, you may find that RTAs, RDAs and RBA's with the following "goal post" design may be easier for you to trap your wire legs as posed to trying to thread the legs into holes or keep the leg under a small screw head without the "goal posts". Lots of MTL rebuildables use this trapping design, but not all...

I think there's another thread for this sort of stuffo_O

So? I Disagree with your Opinion.

Jeeze Don. You do it All the Time.
Before I started making my own more exotic wire I bought some MKWS Juggernaut wire. It was junk but it did inspire me to make my own. The difference was night and day. The only difference was the quality of the wire used. There is some stuff I'll buy from China and some stuff I won't. Just like there are some car parts I'll buy at a junkyard and some parts I won't. If you can't tell the difference that's good.

    P.S. I didn't mean any offense.

Having been around the ECF for awhile, one thing I have found is you can Always find someone who Doesn't like something. Or who had a Bad Experience.

I tend to look at things e-Cigarette-wise thru the Strong Law of Large Numbers. And if the Vast Majority of users Like something, then I probably will also.

Not to say that Things can't change. Or that Quality can't Fluctuate. But for MWKS, and for as long as I have used their SS and NiChrome 80 Coils (and the Kanthal A1 Coils I have given as gifts), they don't seem to have.

If a person tries something, and they Don't like it, that's Cool. At a Dollar Two Ninety Eight for a Bag of Pre-Coiled Coils, it's not really the End of the World as we know it.

    P.S. No Offense taken.

It's kind of like I like the burgers and fries I get at Burger King but I like the burgers I get at the mom and pops diner down the street much better. They are the same thing but different quality. What's even better for me is it's almost the same price.

    BTW - COVID-19 related...

I went to the Grocery Store today and there was Not a Single Roll of Toilet Paper left. Even the Crappy (pun intended) No-Name stuff was Sold Out. Strange to see 15 Feet of Empty Shelves.

    Same with Rubbing Alcohol.

Maybe the Mom & Pop Burger is Lower Quality? And you just like that Taste Better?

My wife said the same thing when she went to Walmart. She went across the street to Vons and got TP. I imagine it won't be long before that will be gone too.

I sincerely doubt it but possible.

I havta kinda give you the edge here Don. Can't imagine an experienced rebuilder not being able to discern the diff between a precise home brew and the unpredictable variability of off-shore hand or machine wound no-name wire (dont' care what they call it). So the probability is you're trackin 5by5. Me, I wouldn't vape anything extruded in China. I'd have to admit in all fairness that my faith at all in manufacturing of late has been seriously compromised. Integrity seems to be an archaic notion nowadays, even for L4 labs. But to expect it then from certain lesser quarters is sheer foolishness. We'd crucify a US source for the slightest error of mislabelling. Due diligence. Just sayin. Low price is hardly the best measure of value. And vaping ain't hamburger.

    Good luck. :)

Anyone recently (last week) placed any orders with Fasttech? In need of some more Freemax coils, but only one supplier in US that has them in stock, but almost double the price of FT. Also any experience with the quality of the FT coils? It's for the Freemax starre pure. I'll probably just order a couple of the double price ones for now.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also any experience with the quality of the FT coils?

If the fasttech product title says "Authentic Freemax [yadda yadda yadda] Replacement Coils", then they are authentic and would be no different than those bought from USA sellers. Defectives are a different matter, but you can get those no matter where you buy - not the retailer's fault.

The ones that don't say "authentic" in the title are clones and those are the ones you have to beware of. Read the reviews and FT forum threads (if any) on these clone coils. Just realize that what one person thinks is good, another may not. In my experience, clone coils have never panned out to be worth the savings or worth it at all. That's just my experience. Big gamble.

Just to clarify something. The replacement coils that say "authentic" are made by the company that made the atomizer. The replacement coils that don't say authentic are replacement coils that are not made by the company that made the atomizer. There are not any clone replacement parts. On Fasttech and most other websites clones are designated by the word "styled".
