You mentioned Doggy’s. I use them regularly as well and love them except....when I refill I have to blow it out several times to stop gurgling. Is there a remedy or is there something I’m doing wrong? I’m using rayon and have adjusted to very little trimming of the tails. I saw on the Doggy thread that this is common. It’s the only flaw I can find though.
I don't think I ever got gurgling on a doggy, but have at times on almost every other tank. The only thing that can really cause that is juice seeping down into the air intake hole under the coil. Whenever I had the issue, it was usually from having the coil placed too low, or being sloppy hand having a stray part of the wick too close to the hole, and not making proper "shoulders" on the wick.

I found Doggy and Precisio very forgiving on the amount of wick. I never thin, fluff, or trim them out. But I use 2mm ID coils, which I find gives the best flavor and hit for me on these tanks. And using 2mm seems to automatically give me the right amount of wick. I've used both rayon and KGD (but mostly KGD) in all of my tanks. You really ought to try the 2mm in Precisio- it's just outstanding.

It occurs to me though, that I did have gurgling a couple of times in the Precisio when I filled it too close to the top. I never shut down air flow or anything, and don't think that's necessary if you don't take too much time. But just don't try to fill completely to the top, and you should be fine.

Here's a pic of one of my doggy builds- it has plenty of space under the coil, and decent shoulders. I don't have Precisio build pics, but it's basically the same.

I use the same priciple on Trues and other tanks:

edit: I've been talking about the Doggy 2K16, and it occurred to me you might have the newer top-fill version?

You MAY get gurlgling on the top fill doggy if you don't close down the JFC. That can be almost IMPOSSIBLE to do, depending on whether you find a drip tip that will catch the chimney. I have found one that does it and I don't like it or use if for ANYTIHG but that.

It's kind of six of one, half a dozen of the other honestly, because it is sometimes quicker just to blow out the airhole than like, deal with the tragic JFC.

But, if you are using a bottom fill doggy (if you are me) you are USUALLY horrified by the state of the wick, even if it is tasting fine, wicking fine, etc. so then you have to rewick.

I prefer the topfills ONLY (I am shallow) because they look so much prettier. But the tanks are way easier to crack if dropped.

I am in the worst of both worlds currently I got top fill doggy chimneys on bottom fill tanks and they have a tendency to just FALL apart, dunking all your juice. Fortunately, I have sorted out one topfill that is correct an one bottom fill that is correct and I have enough replacement bits to have doggies for life, so I'm like "two is plenty, more than enough at present.

I don't get politics even slightly. I repeat that to myself early and often. It helps me cope. I got my last FT package yesterday but it was the Ego mega clones that get such horrible reviews, I haven't even taken them out of the mailbox yet. I await a mod from Sourcemore and that's it.

You need to come back @Terri McVeety and let us know your incredibly favorable impressions of the Precio. I have yet to meet a person who hated them. You COULD be the first I guess.

A small update to my previous post:

I'm still waiting on my 2 FT packages.

I managed to find a B & M store that was still open by me, almost all of them are closed. I went there and got a pack of coils. Nobody is allowed to enter the store, I ordered by phone and they came out to give me the items by the front door.

They didn't have any Vaporesso coils in stock, which is what I usually use, but I found out that other coils were compatible with my tank, so I picked up a 5 pack of Smok Baby Beast coils.

I guess I've been spoiled, because I now realize how good the Vaporesso coils I've been using are compared to other stuff. I've never used any other coils before with this tank. I had gotten so used to the Vaporesso CCELL 2 ceramic coils.

The Baby beast coils last about 1-2 days each before the taste becomes bad and burnt.

So I went back to plan B, which was to boil some of my old, used Vaporesso CCELL 2 coils and I put one of them back in my tank, and even a coil that was previously used for 14 days tastes way better than the baby beast coil that was used for 2 days, so I'll just continue using my old Vaporesso CCELL 2 coils until my packages arrive.

Yes, all I've been using for the past few years is those ceramic coils. First the ver 1., then the ver. 2 ever since they came out. Everybody has different tastes and preferences, but for me at least, those are the best disposable coils I have ever tried, and I've tried all of them from Vaporesso. Ceramics are for me I suppose.

I am using the Cascade tank from Vaporesso.

The only bad thing that I have to say about the coils, is that every once in a while, I will get a dud coil in the pack, which kind of sucks, since each pack is 3 coils, and a single coil is not exactly cheap.

Either way, this is way, way cheaper than when I used to spend a crazy amount of money on cigs, so I guess that the occassional dud coil is just something that comes with the territory.

No the bottom fill. I’ll sure try the 2,0, usually 2.5 but I can see the rationale there. One of the comments I remember reading is that the doggy doesn’t work by vacuum-true? Precisio as well? I’m liking it very much so far

nope! I really really love it! No leaks, good taste that I’m sure will improve with the tips y’all have given me. Easy to refill. What’s not to love? Oh yeah, must have more!!!

Well FT just replied to my ticket. They told me to wait.:-x

If you want to get anywhere with Fasttech customer service these days, you have to start a thread on their forum and include "@anniepan" in the subject line.
Shipping: FastTech Forums

There is no guarantee you will get a favorable outcome, but with an order at the airport for 1 month, there is a good chance you will get help.

I feel your pain! The waiting is not good. I would go to the FT forum and post about it on the What Shipping Times are you experiencing thread. Ask for Anniepan's help and call her to the thread by posting @anniepan. It could help, and it can't hurt. Of course, all she did was tell me it could be as long as two months before the investigation is concluded.

I'll do that if it gets to the two month mark. The shipment is only some coils for my Smok Prince TFV12, which I have a lot of anyway. But I would like to place another order, but if the average shipping time is two to three months, I'm not so certain about that.

Things may be improving. I don't know. I had an FT order that was accepted by the shipper on April 22 and it was delivered to me at my home on May 23. I wouldn't complain about that one, but some of these other shipping times are ridiculous!

One of three of my Fasttech orders that have been sitting at the airport in China for weeks has finally hit Chicago and is due to be delivered Monday (knock wood). Another BIG Fasttech order just shipped. They sat on it for 2 weeks before shipping. Maybe they were waiting for the logjam at the PO to lighten up some? Let's hope.

I’ve gotten 3 orders from 3F Vape in around 2 weeks each. Fasttech should use that shipper, 4PX I think. Id rather pay shipping than a 2.5 month wait! I’ve even gotten a couple from Sourcemore in a month each.

Just got a 3fvape today, took 3 weeks from order date, using the express shipping. I've done 6 orders using the express ship (4px) and all got in less than month, half of them got in 2 weeks, seems only safe bet to get sooner than the regular shipping, even though do have to pay for it.
