Coronavirus and ordering from China

Well my FT order I ordered 4/30/20 has hit New York, tracking says delivery Monday.

My FT order I ordered 4/20/20 is still in La-La Land somewhere.

They must be sending everything by boat for it to take this long to get to the US. Used to for in-stock items I got them in 12 to 14 days.

I have a small update to my previous post.

USPS wasn't lying when they said that I would receive my package on Wednesday, because today is Wednesday and I did indeed receive my package. And I can definitely confirm that because I am physically in possession of the package.

The FT package that I received today was first accepted in China on May 16th. So this package took exactly 1 month for it to be in my hands. I have no complaints about that at all, given the current situation.

My other FT package is still in China, with no signs of life, but that's ok. There's nothing that can be done about that. I have more than enough coils now to last me for a while.

I am now off to pop in a brand new ceramic coil into my tank and enjoy some nice tasting juice again, after having resorted to ghetto methods like boiling my old coils for a few weeks now.

Vapers gotta vape, virus or no virus.

The vast majority of my FT orders always took 4-6 weeks to delivery. Very rarely were they delivered quicker than that. So that was definitely "normal" from my FT experience.

My experience has usually been about 14-21 days. I mostly order coils from FT.

I notice that when ordering, their items have dates next to them, stating if they are in stock or not, and how many days it will take before they ship out or how many days until they restock. I usually only order items that are ready to go and in stock.

Me to. I have seldom ever ordered products that were not "ships next day" or "in stock". Sill my shipments/deliveries were rarely under 4 weeks. But I have heard people getting FT shipments in 2-3 weeks to the USA.

I never use anything but free shipping methods.

Can you get a refund from FT and order it where you are (I have no idea, I have never had to request a refund from FT) If my Sourcemore mod doesn't get here soon I will not be very happy.

I'll leave it, it will eventually get here. Back ups for the back ups, back ups, ad infinitum. I have actually requested and received a refund from FT before. last year it was and I have to say they were very good about it and from memory it was instant.

Cancelled my only pending order at FT after I got a response to my ticket that there has been a drastic reduction in flights to the US and a huge number of packages are backlogged. Think I'll help out a few local vendors.

Fasttech replied to my question about the order shipped 3/24, asking me to either wait 2-3 weeks or they would give me a 5% discount on a future order. I replied that I would wait a week to see if tracking changed, showing it left China. If no change I continue to want a refund or re-ship. At least they've been responding within a couple days.

For now, I feel more comfortable with Cigabuy, Vapesourcing, Sourcemore and Vaporl, all of them consistently getting stuff here within a month or less. Perhaps in a month or two, if enough of us have better experience, I'll give FT another shot, as it was consistently under two weeks for years.

I have a bad feeling about the future of Fasttech. I feel that something must terribly wrong that they can get their act together when other chinese retailers seem to have returned to normal or almost normal.

Any free shipping e-packets through China Post depend on passenger flights to get them to the US.
The other sites with paid shipping, Sourcemore, Vapesourcing, etc. are using a shipping co 4px that partners with DHL to get the packages out of China quicker.
Until more passenger flights are leaving China, maybe FT should go to the paid quicker shipping.

My second FT package woke up yesterday and it was at ICS New York.

I'm supposed to get it delivered on tuesday.

So all in all, not bad at all. My package #1 took exactly 1 month and package #2 will have taken about 5 weeks.

I'm all set with coils to last me more than 6 months now, so I don't have to worry about ordering anything else from China anytime soon.

I've never been to the FastTech site simply because I've seen complaints regarding slow shipping. I did land on vapesourcing and saw a device I liked and at a very good price so I purchased it. I was pleased that it took less than 3 weeks to arrive. I told myself not to push my luck but alas I wound up on sourcemore and yay me a device I currently have is for sale at a very good price. Again roughly 18 days to arrive. I wound up back on sourcemore again just to "look" and again saw a device..and purchased it and is on it's way.
All of my orders have been in stock and shipping in 24 hours and that has been true to date.

Finally! My FT e packet package that shipped on March 31 was delivered today! On Saturday I was notified it had cleared customs in Chicago! I really didn't expect I would ever receive it! Thank goodness I was wrong!

I didn't have any that far behind,but i finally got one from another Chinese vendor today,that one shipped 4/13,and i got my latest Ft order that shipped 4/28.My Ft one came through NY this time though,usually mine hit Chicago as well.

My order 4/25 looks much like yours..... lots of updates from Zhengzhou.
I've had FT orders arrive in 2 weeks up to 2 months.
Gonna give it a few more weeks before I open a ticket if it's not here...

Package received!!
So it took 7 weeks.
After numerous loops in China, it went 30 days with no updates, so I was growing concerned.
The posts here showing items received after much longer times helped though.
Was a larger-than-normal $$ order, so glad to see it finally arrive.
