So I'm wondering how often should I change out my cotton. I'm not changing flavor.

Depends on what your set up is. I find my cotton usually lasts about 3 weeks. If I'm vaping at 30W it's about a week to a week an a half.

To misquote Dr Seuss...oh the answers you'll get!! Haha. Totally depends on your setup. I've got tanks I'll run for a week or more and drippers I'll change daily. My mom's rebuilt evods can last for nearly 2 weeks. This is all with daily chain use BTW lol
for me I find if I use one rda all the time, I need to change wick after 3 days, just like my protank days.

yeah, that I would pull the wick, pulse the coils clean, rinse under water, pulse the coils and deck dry, let cool a few, then rewick.
Depending on liquid, how hot your build is, and such, wicks can last 12hrs to a month, your mileage will vary

I'm not gonna lie, I've had worse. Lol. Just spoil myself a bit more these days and change it earlier
I change mine about once a week, but I am a light rda user.
Now I will change them out after a particularly strong flavor if I am going to something else.

dang i have to change mine once a day and thats me trying to stretch their life out as long as i can. i only use one rda though and i pretty much chain vape whenever my hands are free
When I was working at a vape shop, had liquids a DIYer would ask me to sample, lots and lots of sweetner in one, an orange creamsyckle flavor, first day sample formula, the sweetener alone blackened and crystalized on the coils and blackened the wick in about 12hrs, bell to bell, open to close of the shop all I vaped on all day. Was good, but by the end of the evening when I pulled the top cap it was 
I just picked up a bottle of Cyclops Vapors Collossus...really good vanilla custard.
I re wick every other day.
New coils after about a week? Give or take.
But I vape constantly.

I've vaped on worse, lol.
I really only change if the flavor starts to go off or the wick starts to underperform. For me, it's anywhere from a day to a week on the outside on a lower powered setup.
