I would like to start by saying; I am not yet comfortable doing SS wicks. So please don't suggest them.

What is a good rba, ideally with a good sized tank, that can take cotton yarn or cotton ball wicks? But also able to take SS mesh for when I am comfortable? Something with a pure taste like a dripping atty but holds a decent amount of liquid? Or does this not exist?

I have started enjoying cottonball wicks, but I have not yet made 1 with fresh new coil, only used wire for my vivi nova, it takes a while but once its ready its quite amazing compared to silica... But the plastic tank is a turn off now...

Sooo... suggestions?

I recently took the advice offered by Gr8Scott in this thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...irst-rba-any-recommendations.html#post8121780

I used cheese cloth for the first wick, then cotton cut from some rounds I got at Dollar tree, and I now have ss mesh in it. All three worked well, and I wouldn't put a lot between them. I have another one coming from COV and I may wind up running ss in one and cotton in the other.

There's lots of good info in the 'different cottons' thread, in case you haven't seen it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...355501-different-cottons-different-wicks.html

Also, when you're ready to try ss, you can put a little wisp of cotton at the top of the mesh to insure against shorts. Start this video at about 1:20 to see how he's doing it. Mesh/Cotton hybrid wick Bluegrasslover's method - YouTube
