Hey guys, i dont kno if this is with anyone else but sometimes i'll wake up in the middle of the night coughing like crazy or when i wake up, my throat is really dry and vaping is painful!

what's going on? i drink plenty of water before and after sleeping, can't seem to shake this off and its frustrating because im losing sleep over this. Only thing I can think of is maybe the throat hit on my ecig is massive because this wasn't happening when i was using my pilot and i get zero throat hit compared to my 901.

I find that the PG makes me cough. It also made my lips hurt.

I buy high nic now and cut it with glycerine. I'm not coughing anymore and my lips don't hurt, and I don't even have to use chap stick anymore. :D

Even when I smoked analogs, my lips were very dry. I always used chap stick. Now my lips are very soft and moist. Thank you, glycerine.

Do you have allergies or asthma? Nighttime coughing can be a symptom of either of those as well as all of the other possibilities mentioned above. :D

neither?

ive been smoking analogs forever and i've never had this kind of cough before, i'd wake up in the middle of the night just randomly coughing :/

anyone kno what it is?

I can almost assure you this is your body getting used to breathing again. I quit smoking for almost a week recently (of course I went back though) and I was coughing up brown stuff somethin' terrible, and my nose was stuffy as well. it's the only way for your lungs to get rid of the tar since there's nothing feeding it now.

i hope ur right, cuz ive been waking up in the middle of the night just coughing furiously lol and i start spittin out loogies...its annoying :(

the last few days its been better, ive been drinking lots of water, brushing and using listerine before i sleep.

hopefully this goes away.....and another thing, when i vape, i can barely take a hit without drinking water afterwards, the throat hit is tremendous for some reason :/

I can't speak for the harshness of the hits since I haven't received my first e-cig yet, but I'm pretty much right there with you on the throat problems. mine's going away also. it was terrible for a couple of days. I knew what it was since I had the exact thing happen the last time I stopped smoking, so I wasn't worried. you shouldn't worry, it's "natural"...that's pretty ironic.
