Speaking from one newbie to another, I am wondering if you may have a sensitivity to PG maybe. Some people have issues with it, so you might want to try some higher VG based juice. I have also found that cinnamon and citrus flavor also tend to irritate my throat as well. Hope you get some valid insight on this, as I am just shooting in the dark! ;)

That is a possibility, I do have some 40% pg 60% VG juice albeit at a slightly higher nic level I will try that

Hmm 50/50 is usually pretty smooth. Can you throttle down the airflow on your tank any?
Well I can because I am using a Nautilus Mini tank, and it has adjustable air flow. I started out with a Kanger Evod 2 starter kit, and figured after hit and miss that I needed to allow air into my mouth at the same time when I would take in the vapor (meaning I didn't seal my lips entirely during the draw). This seemed to help with air flow and didn't feel so harsh to my throat. Plus it seemed to add to the vapor production, so I didn't have to take such a long draw to produce the vapor I was looking for. Hope this helps, Robert!:D

well, i too have a tank with adjustable airflow... just wondering now that we got the PG/VG situation remedied how much airflow I should allow
Just try it and see what works best for you. Whatever allows you to vape without coughing is golden. You can suck in some air alongside the drip tip and or adjust the airflow on the tank. Adjust your inhaling technique ie easy slow draw vs fast short puff, etc. Hard for us to tell you what works best for you.

From my personal experience you just get used to it, when I first started i coughed at the tiny drags, but now I can get clouds with no irritation
so i find that when I am vaping, no matter which type of inhale I use, I always tend to cough. I am using the MVP 3.0 on 13 watts, 1.5 ohm coil and 12 milligrams of nicotine. any tips would be helpful.

Thanks in advance :)
