Could I use this as a base?

Great! Then I could just get some flavors from here

Flavor Extracts

mix the two together, and vape it? or vape the amazon vg by itself?

I know it wouldn't contain nicotine, but that's fine =)

thanks!

I vape the VG I got from Amazon a lot. Good stuff, lots of vapor.

I'd get flavor extracts from here instead:
DIY e-liquid Flavoring
The link you posted, they are probably just re-labeling these products anyway.
There are other sites that don't re-bottle/relabel as well. Liberty Flights, Freedom Smokes USA. Look around on google.
I'd rather not buy stuff that's been re-bottled/relabeled myself.

Thanks for the input!

It's good to know that someone else has tried that brand successfully. Do you add nicotine yourself or smoke it nicotine free?

Also, what makes you say the bottles at madvapes are relabeled? and why exactly is that a bad thing? I just saw the price and got a big smile (although I guess price is reflective on quality) =)

thanks!

A lot of places re-label liquids, and that isn't necessarily a sign of poor quality. Whether MadVapes does or does not, I don't know, but I do know that they are an excellent vendor. They do have great prices (so you can keep smiling!) and beyond excellent customer service. I've bought several flavors from them and have liked some more than others, just the same as any other vendor I've ordered from. You can read about them here: MadVapes before you choose whether or not you'd like to purchase from them. I order all of my hardware from them, as well as some of the larger bottles of tobacco flavors.

Awesome. It's ridiculous how much you save by purchasing the VG from amazon and mixing your own flavour.

Do all you guys just pass up on nicotine then?

thanks for the comments!

I bought 36 mg nicotine base liquid at Box Elder Chemical Supply and I'm mixing it 50/50 with the HUMCO glycerin. I just wanted to try straight VG to see what it was like.

and what was it like?

I liked the straight VG, but it was too thick. I don't have any distilled water at home, so haven't try to thin it. I used a lemon flavor with it and didn't wait more than a few hours to try it.

I've done two 50/50 mixes so far. One in coffee, which is perfect; and the other in strawberry, which doesn't have enough flavor so I have to work that out.

I'm very happy with the Box Elder product, it's clear with no smell and the bottle is fully labeled with an expiration date. It was $30 plus shipping for 250 ml.

I vape the VG w/o niotine. I don't feel like handling high strength nicotine if I don't have too. I don't have a safe place to work with it. If I get down to 0 nic I'm going to make my own juice.

There are only about a half dozen flavor manufactures: Flavour Arts, Loranns, Capella, Faeries Finest, The Flavors Apprentice, Nature's Flavors, Flavor West. Do some research and you'll see this yourself. Why pay someone to open a bottle from one of these sources, stick it in another bottle with their name on it and charge you extra $? Check the names of some of the flavors yourself; Hypnotic Mist is by Flavour Art
Aromi dolci :: Hypnotic myst flavor - Flavourart. La sartoria degli aromi
Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble is by Capella:
Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble - e liquid tea flavored e juice water flavoring coffee flavors e cigarette diet & fitness Baking & desserts
I'd prefer not to have extra hands fiddling with the stuff I'm going to vape if its not necessary, especially if it adds to the cost.
What if you bought say, a banana flavor you really liked and wanted to get a large bottle. Would Mad Vapes be willing to tell you if it was Loranns or Capella so you could save a little money? They'd be shooting themselves in the foot business-wise if they did.
Seems a bit dishonest to me, not to name the source of the flavorings you sell. :glare:
It's like they're taking advantage of noobs.
