Add Parkinson's to the list of diseases that smokers, and inherently vapors, are significantly less-likely to get (something like 1/3 as likely... it's a dopamine receptor thing?).
Let's keep it simple. Even with e-cigs we are not inhaling what we are supposed to be inhaling. Unless nicotine has secretly been some kind of super drug that the tobacco company has been ruining with tar, It's not healthy for you. However it is a lot better then an analog and that's enough to keep me vaping.
Does anyone know why some vendors advise against using their products to people on anti-depressants? I so desperately want to get away from analogs. I will be even more depressed if there is some valid reason why I shouldnt vape

I'm thinking it would be an overload of dopamine. Anti depressants like Zoloft increase serotonin and dopamine reuptake. Nicotine also increases dopamine in the brain. Combining the two may lead to too much dopamine in the brain. Personally, i'm still vaping on Zoloft and have experienced no problems so far.

Very true. But we take in so much crap in our normal daily lives that I Really don't think it is that big a deal. That said, I think we should all Moderate are Nicotine intake, drink plenty of water and get a solid nights sleep every night.
The largest single predictor of an early death is still genetics and family history.

Newbie here. Started vaping last Thursday. Developed some really nasty cold symptoms on Tuesday which lasted through Wednesday. By Thursday the symptoms were weakening. Almost symptom-free by Friday. This never happens! Didn't even miss a day of work.
Nicotine has been proven helpful for Ulcerative Colitis sufferers, people who quit often go into major flares. They have even treated non smokers with nicotine replacement products to help promote remission..there are many UCers that vape for this specific reason.
