Could we use a WhiteHouse petition to our benefit?

I just had an idea, do not know if it has merrit.

Could ECF members start a petition on https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/homepage that would help our cause?

From the web-site :

Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and efffectiveness in government.”

AND :
If a petition meets the signature threshold, it will be reviewed by the Administration and we will issue a response.

I do not know how to word the petition, but welcome discussion.​

Um, I think, no, I know it would be a waste of time.
At least in regard to the West wing.

The way to gain acceptance for this product in this country is to get Leonardo DiCaprio to promote his ecig.

I should have added that I am NOT against the fight at all as I am personally involved in an endeavor to change regulations regarding Australian import laws but there are other angles and bodies more approachable as most are aware.
Having said that I guess anything is worth a try.

Their core values are for sale ...
