I went to give my best friends wife the Nickel Plated mini today that I promised her for staying cig free. While there we decided that since I had all ready given her hubby a Grand that it would be better for her to get a Grand too. It works out cheaper for them because I gave them 4 AW 18650 batts and I didn't have any 14500 to spare so she would have needed to buy at least 3.
He is in a wheel chair and she has had to work part time only to help take care of him ... so they are living on very little money. So not having to order any batteries right now is pretty helpful for them.
Oooh Noooo ..... the problem is the only Grand I have at the moment is my beloved flat black from the first run ..... It has some unique qualities and its very special to me being my first ever REO.
I offered to let her use mine until I can get her a new one, but I think she saw my eyes beginning to tear up and a look of fear come across my face. She thanked me again for everything and said she would be fine using the Riva batts and cartos for now...... Whew that was close.
So after I pay for the upcoming Mini Woodvil it will be time to score another Grand too.
