I started vaping a few weeks ago weeks ago. Everything was unbelievable at first, but now I find that the carts all feel like i'm sucking mud through a straw. Some are better then others, but a brand new cart produces no vapor and literally feels like I'm sucking really really hard but no air is passing through at all.

Am I supposed to be cleaning something or anything like that? Is this my fault or is the cart busted, and if so why are some of the other carts starting to respond similarly (but less drastic).

Thanks for the help. OH and its happening on my pass through and my manual battery both, like I said some carts worse then other, so I have to imagine its the carts.

To clean a battery, watch the 3rd video down:

Watch the 7th video too, if you want a good laugh!

I had one carto that had a tiny piece of aluminum stuck inside. It came out when I (very gently) stuck a paper clip through from the mouth end, with the carto off the battery.

Thanks!

If you have a bum carto just mention it in your next order and I'm sure the guys will take care of you.

I was definitely going to do that, I just wanted to see if I could fix it before complaining, b/c its just 1 out of the 5 in the box. But still 1 out of 5 is a killer on the budget if there are too many boxes like that.

In my experience, it's very rare. I've never had a carto I couldn't use. The one I posted above is the closest I've come.

I did have one carto that wouldn't screw all the way down. I grabbed a pair of pliers and forced it on. That was on my battery mod, so all I was risking was the adapter. Of course, that carto had to go in the trash when it was done. The pliers pretty much wrecked it.

I ran into this problem about 5 weeks into my first couple batteries.. I got a shotglass and put about an inch of rubbing alcohol into the bottom and let the batteries sit in the shotglass for about 10 minutes. Then I "swished" them around a bit and got a clean toothbrush and brushed the threads until they gleamed again. I hadn't noticed that over time they had become almost black. I let them air dry for another hour, then got a thin needle and poked into the 3 holes right under the battery threads and blew it out with compressed air.

Batteries worked like brand new again and 3 more weeks in they are starting to get a little hard to draw. Going to redo steps above and I expect good results again.

By the way, I did this with auto batteries, hence why I only used about an inch of alcohol in the shotglass. I didn't want to submerge the battery (and don't recommend it even with manuals due to led on the other end).

Wow,

This got more response then I thought it would! I peeled the wrapper back from the side that screws into the battery, thats all I could imagine the "slots" being. The wrapper was higher on that side compared to other carts that work fine, but this did not fix the problem. The carto is still not working at all.

As for the batteries being cleaned, I'm not sure that's the problem, b/c most of my other cartos work completely fine without at problem at all (some feel alittle clogged compared to others, but in general their all way better then this one that just won't work)

I emailed Steve with his number so I'm guessing this will be resolved. Thanks for all the help

I just recently began using some cartos I ordered 2 or 3 weeks ago. Some of them had the sticker/label applied too far down the carto. Meaning that there was white showing on the side at the tip and the label covered the 4 air holes/vents at the bottom of the carto. I didn't even notice it at first. Until I tried vaping. Like drumkicks said, it was like trying to suck mud through a straw. I just took some nail clippers and clipped off the label that was covering the 4 air vents. Works great now.
