Hello all,
I was hoping i could get some chimes in on your experience. I don't seem to be getting more than 2-3 days from a cartomizer... What am I doing wrong? The either start flooding all of a sudden after 3 fills of the tank (using them in a tank and tried smaller holes) or else they all of a sudden develop a short.. or so says my provari with an E1 error. The shorting seems to go along with the flooding. I am using SS Boge 3.0. Do I have a bad batch?

I only get about 3 days before I pitch'em. Usually not from failure but loss of flavor or tight draw. But WTF, depending on the sale of the moment or just going to CCV, I never pay more than $1.25 each. Compare that to analog cost.

edit: I use Boge 3.0 in my BP, but have had the same life expectancy with DC's in 3.7 V gear.

I use mine for weeks, then I clean them and use them again. What type of juice are you using? Also I think with a Provari use have to use a certain type of carto, check with them and see. I just started using the resurrators and they are just great and have lasted over two weeks without cleaning. For my tanks I order the ones that are made for the tanks from Madvapes, I don't try to use a reg. carto on a tank, I think you need the flang at the bottom and the hole is already predrilled so you don't have to fool with it!

What kind of juice are you using? Dark? Light? Cinnamon? Clove? Some juices can be "carto killers"

Yes, the juice will have a large effect on the lifespan of the carto, so your juice choice would give some insight.

I think like the above post says, it's better, if you can, to gauge carto life in mL rather than days because of the variance in mL/day.

Lastly, in my experience, Boge cartos lose flavor and performance faster than dual coils. I have cleaned cartos before, but the amount of performance that came back after all the cleaning was not worth the effort and time.

I only get about 3 days before I pitch'em. Usually not from failure but loss of flavor or tight draw.

I found on Resurectors, I could get a solid two weeks of great flavor. I have also previously had great luck with the Fusions that Issac sells at ikenvape, but I stuck one in my new M1A1 tank, and two days later the flavor is just gone. I'm kind of bummin, because ikenvape is out of the 2.5 ohm ones I use.

Anyone have an opinion if using a tank will reduce the life of a carto with respect to flavor? I ask, because I seemed to be getting a couple weeks on Fusions before.

Incidentally, the juice I'm using in the tank is Triple Rainbow from the vaporcast store. It's pretty clear, and not really thick.

I've been wondering the same thing. I have been using boge 3.0 cartos on a lavatube and after 2 days MAX, they taste like crap. I do consider myself a pretty heavy vaper. My husband has the same issue and vapes completely different flavors but from the same vendor. Mostly 70/30. It might be a better description to measure in how many ML you put through it rather than days cause some vape more than others. I'm finding that with most of my bakery flavore juices they last through about 5-10 ML then they taste bad. is that the norm everyone gets or is it just my juices? I can still taste it. It's just not as good and fresh tasting. Kind of like it's dirty. I've tried clearomizers with no luck and have a stardust on the way with high hopes. Even if you only pay 1.25 per carto 1 a day on top of juice gets pretty expensive, and I usually have at least 3 flavors I'm rotating, so that's 3 cartos. I figure if you vape 5ML a day, a lot of vendors charge .50 -$1 per ML8-o, you start to get close to what you paid for cigarettes. Especially if you figure in price of PV's, batteries, drip tips, etc. :(I've been trying to clean my cartos once for reuse but it isn't as good as new. Funny, one of the reasons we started vaping was to save money. LOL Well that's not happening not with us anyways. Hopefully, down the line it will start to even out though but I have definitely spent way more vaping these last 2 months than I ever did smoking.:vapor::vapor:

I get 5 to 7 days from a plain old Boge 2.0 carto and no tank. After reading this, I might just keep on refilling that 3ml bottle and carrying it in my pocket for touching up my Boge. Tanks seem like a good idea for extending the life of a fill, but 3 days on a carto means you have to disassemble and refill when you change the carto, doesn't it.
