Purely personal opinion here...I don't care for the looks of a large screw sticking out from the tank. I feel that it distracts from the beauty of the tank aesthetically.

I also never understood why you need to use a juice fill hole to fill your tank? If you are using a tank accessory tool such as a Slap Yo Moma tool it is just as easy and fast as using a juice fill hole to refill your tank. Then you have to consider how easy it can be to loose the screw being so tiny; unless you buy extras, not having the screw will make using the tank impossible because you will no longer have negative pressure within the tank.

I carry my mods/tanks in my front jeans pocket. I'd be concerned that the screw could work its way loose in my pocket, become lost, and possibly leak juice in my pocket.

I'm not sure that you guys even consider these factors.

When I first started using carto tanks, I bought both glass and polypropylene tanks from (the now closed) Valley View Vapes - all with side fills - and IBT tanks, which of course are conventional... and, with a bit of practice, very easy to fill in their own right.

With polypropylene, the side screws actually screw into the tank - very secure. With glass side fills, it's just a rubber stopper, that will easily pop out with any rough handling. (see Bad's jeans pocket reference)

So... based on experience, I wouldn't be too interested in a side fill glass carto tank... not when IBT tanks are so wonderfully made for such a reasonable price.

Just received an email from the owner, site will be back up next week. By the way, Crazy Vapes does sell tanks without a fill hole. The glass seems to be very thick too.

All my tanks, 7 of them are Ibtanked. I have never tried a carto tank with a fill hole.

However, me personally:

1- I never place my mod in my pocket.
2- Even though I have the Slap Yo Mama tool, and it works great, the fill hole seems easier and no need to carry a tool.
3- I think the large screw on the side looks really cool :D

Here is a youtube video I found for anyone interested.

Sorry Trifle03104, I forgot to answer your question. No I have not purchased any of the tanks from CrazyVapes. At one pointed I wanted to try one tank out, or at the very least just have one tank with the screw because I thought it looked nice. However, having 7 Ibtanked tanks I am all set. Maybe in the future I will buy one.

Like Baditude stated though, Ibtanked is a better deal and you don't have to worry about losing the screw. If you end up getting one then buy a few extra screws just in case.

Where does everyone get there o-rings? Can you get them in bulk and in metric?

Since I use a tank tool which protects against o-ring damage, I've never had to replace an o-ring in any of my tanks. If you have IBTanked's, they come with extra o-rings, and the website has extra's should you need them. They are specially made for their tanks, so they may not fit other manufacturer's tanks.

I've heard that auto parts stores have the appropriate size o-rings.

While they may have the size you want the chances of it being something food grade are VERY low. I like to know that the tank parts won't leach into the juice or affect the taste.
