deep fried twinkies are amazing! we used to sell them at my sports bar (along with fried Oreos and Snicker bars), and we dipped them in funnel cake batter and fry away. i don't even like twinkies, but when it's fried, it gets all crispy on the outside and soft and melty on the inside. all of them are equally incredibly fattening good!

i have heard of deep fried butter too...

lol I went to the fair last summer for the first time in a couple years and I couldn't believe the number of things they were deep frying now. The only one I actually tried was the deep fried oreos which werent bad but definitely not worth the price lol But they had ..

deep fried....

pickles, oreos, butterfingers, bunch of other things i can't think of at the moment, and deep fried peanut butter and jelly 8-o
