Nice to see you, BuzzKill. Here. Here is the very moment in history that you decided VV/VW was the future of e-cigs and that you should do something about it.... credit where credit is due, man. Good on you.

Wow. Great find!

[For all the knowledgeable veterans (or anyone that knows some that haven't seen the thread), could give them a heads-up to visit here and add their input. A lot of times they can remember things that evades research!]

This thread might interest you. The first VV device sold by someone to someone else might have been the Detonator... but maybe not. It might have been Nucks Fistpack (if selectable voltage can be thought of as the same thing as variable voltage). Then Buzzkill rolled out the buzz and the terminator right before the joker av came out. And the buzz was the first device that had trimmable voltage instead of selectable voltage.

I knew this could get murky. But I very much appreciate it. Devices in there I have never heard of. Man!

The dripping atomizer came along and that was great, but what mess when your you're little atomizer leaked via the pee hole.

This little piece of plastic tubing turned that around over night, credit has to be given to the drip shield:

That's right. They produced the first tele, correct? I knew that. From what I can tell, 2010 saw a lot coming out -- though nothing in comparison to today's standards -- but without release dates, it is hard for me to discern much of what was "first," or it will be hard for me to actually say on record who was first. As of now, one thing that sticks out is that 2010 saw a plethora of "new" ecigs/components. If anyone here is in communications with the mod makers, I would appreciate you sending them a message about when certain release dates were (when the product became available). I have several messages already waiting on responses.

Darwin by Evolv. First VW device. The inspiration for everything that's hot right now in the vaping world. This thing was awesome in its time (and still is, really). 7 - 12W of mayhem.

I paid $230 for this from NHaler back in early 2011. It was insanely expensive for the time and worth every penny.

I got a response from Brandon at Evolv and the Darwin was announced in 10/2010 and released in 1/11.

So I can log in the Darwin as the first VW (even though we knew that one). It just helps to have the dates for how I wanted this to go. I have yet to get actual dates from any other manufacturer for some reason. They'll come soon hopefully.
