Just found out they will not ship to APO address. Makes me irrigated that some vendors will not ship to APO address. Whats the deal? More work for them/ cost more to ship to a deployed address or something?

Hey ci_k, it's not because they won't due to cost. In most cases, vendors choose not to do so due to fraud in the past. This is nothing against you or any other service members, it's mainly due to civilian contractors and/or locals that live or work on the bases who may have caused issues with online retailers in the past (fraud, stolen cards, etc.).
A big problem was since it was most of the time it is a military parcel they cannot guarantee the product. Many companies had been burned by the fraud mentioned above, or just negligence. They do not want the bad press for something they cannot insure, or assure. So they just stopped sending to APO and FPO addresses.
