I'm not prejudice in any way and not here to or about to cut up the Chinese people, heck they invented & stated all of this and I love them for it. However I don't believe Imeo would ever take that path and have all his own machining done right where it is now just on a bigger scale.

You can always tell when someone has laid hands on something when creating it. You don't even need to ask. There's just something about it.

There's more attention to detail, while at the same time more "quirks." There's a piece of the human in it.

I've held a Precise, and I've held a 905. The Precise feels like it has some of the human in it. The 905 doesn't - it just feels like an object. And somehow, that makes the 905 less attractive. Never held a GG, but I imagine it's a similar feeling to the Precise, in the sense that you can tell someone cared about it.

There actually aren't a whole lot of quality mods that don't have a bit of a human in them. Most people have to wait to get them, either due to them being made to order, or limited supply due to the limits of how fast a human can work.

But they will outlast a 905. And they feel better to hold than a 905. And it's nice to know someone cared about something you're holding.

I'd take waiting a bit over feeling like nobody cared any day. Not because it's "exclusive." But because when someone cares, it's more pleasurable for you, and it's more likely that their caring translates into better quality.

So I'll wait. But that's just me.

I have to agree fully with some Mods in production lines, but holding many of GG's in my hand I don't think the quality or Imeo's personal touch has to move down the quality scale because production goes up, QC is a must and good QC will cover this from ever happening.

Yes, but that would have to happen slowly. I won't name the vendor, but there is a mod creator who seems to have let himself bite off more than he can chew and in recent months, the complaints on faulty mods are piling up. I'm sure he did it with the best of intentions, but his QC is falling due to the pressure.

I think it's something Imeo may gradually grow into. His business is growing, and slowly subsuming his main employment. There's sort of a natural path going on. If it takes another year, or more, for him to comfortably get up to that kind of production, I'd much rather wait than try to rush him, and see the same results as above.

Agreed again MistressNomad, Growth surely takes time and perfection even more time.! I don't ever see Imeo putting out a low quality PV ever, so there is no worries there as his last masterpiece the GGTB couldn't possibly be priced any better for what the price of that beauty is. I love the way you write by the way, who do you write for ?

Thank you. :) I was doing some freelance gigs for a while, and I have an e-cig blog (link in my sig), but I may have a permanent job writing for a website in the near future. Fingers crossed.

Also agreed on the GGTB! It's nice to see a good-looking, high-quality mechanical mod that is priced so well. I really appreciate that, as a broke vaper. :p

I'm thinking my order would go something like this:

1) GGTS (all stainless steel including telescoping tube, brass center post, brass button switch, fuse add-on instead of basic cap in brass, magnets instead of spring.
2) AVS (all stainless steel including connectors).

Zaiden ,
You just described my dream GG setup "AWESOME" That would be the bomb!!! Imeo, I need two please?

Actually doing something like then adds some variables. Takes me what, say 10 minutes to put magnets in (extra $10?) and supplier runs the risk of scratching it while doing it....

I do these things if asked anyway.... but would you guys be happy to pay extra for this service?

Or maybe a standard customise service if not the normal GGTS.

I agree Hope,

That is no easy task to take apart the button for the first time, it was tight!! Once I got it apart it's not so bad!! IMO

I think my whole reason of bringing this up...is "why not do it". Nothing changes for everyone who has a current GG or is looking to buy a new one. The only thing this allows is for more sales for Imeo and happier customers. As I said, pick a few metals to choose from so it doesn't get crazy for the suppliers and let us hardcore GG fans buy a GG that fits our style.

Problem is I doubt if it would be that AWSOME as Stainless Steel whilst it does conduct electricity its not very good at it .
Its considered as a poor conductor
But Silver is the best conductor But that will be a very expensive ecig ...
