Advice on my tank and carto

When using the saddle valve listen closely when the pin pops through the carto metal. Because of the high VG you'll prolly want to give it an extra 1/4- 1/2 turn for a larger hole.

Thanks for the vid Vapoor. This carto came condomless since it was already in the tank but I will try that method when my boges arrive. Also, I found a couple vids where folks were using that saddle valve to punch the cartos... cool beans. I'm gonna be good-to-go.

Thanks to those who answered my flangeless question also. I wasn't trying to derail at all. I haven't had the issue, but it looks like a strong possibility a n00b (me) might encounter it one day.

I use the flangeless XL cartos so I can replace the carto with joose still in the tank.

I was thinking about this and I came up with a possible solution, in the eventuality. If you were to slide the tank half way off, like you would when you fill, you could get a pair of pliers, like the needle nose type, and get the carto off the device that way, without spilling any juice. Just a thought, but I bet it would work. But yeah, like flyer said, the best way is to avoid it in the first place by not putting it on too tight.

Or A's I did in the beginning with Boge cartos wiggle the carto and unscrew.
