The cut off time is a safety feature of the batteries (so if the battery goes off in your purse you won't set it on fire...LOL) Some of my older batts (both auto and manual) have a 10-13 sec cut off. Some of my newer ones have a 20 sec cut off.
:shock: Fire in da purse ? 8-o8-o thank goodness there's a cut off !! :smokie:

Yes............................

Cut-off time is present in both Auto and Manual Batteries. It determines how long the battery will be engaged for before it resets. Now, older styled batteries actually had stand-by time as well where you had to wait for a couple of seconds before you could take another draw.

I think the bulk of batteries that are in use are either older VK models @ 10-13 second, current VK Models @ 17 seconds, & the Stealth and Diamond Series at 20 seconds.

The cut off time on the non kd/stealth autos are 13.3 second avg in my testing, manuals 14.2. On bargin bin manuals anywhere between 7-13 seconds. The king diamond and stealths are 20.1 avg. Hope this helps Ms. Chimchim. :)

My bargain bin shorty is 10 seconds. You all really helped me! Thank you!
