I just got one of the AFC's from Chowderhead72 on Saturday and have been using next to my LP RM's. So far I really like it. Big enough deck so built a dual coil and have been vaping wide open. Tons of flavor. It won't replace my RM's but is really a nice topper. The only thng on the build I wasn't crazy about was the tiny allenheads but they do crank down tight. Deck is stainless and not ceramic so have to be careful not to let coils touch deck.

I'm sure there are others out there with more experience with them, especially Chowderhead.

I have both and I like both. They both perform pretty similar. Both drain juice back into the bottle without issue. Some people say one or the other has better flavor, but I'm not picking up on much difference between them. The RM2 is a little easier to build on and less expensive, but overall I'm starting to favor the cyclone. Primarily because of the feel of the stainless steel vs the brass RM2. The Cyclone just has a really nice quality feel to it. I also prefer the o-ring/pressure fit cap of the Cyclone to the RM2's threaded design.

Also, you might check out the Igo atomizer on the Reo site. From what I understand it's very similar to the Cyclone at about half the cost. http://www.reosmods.com/index.php?p...category_id=32&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=3

The cyclone with the AFC cap is worth getting. The dual adjustable air holes are great for dual coils. If it doesn't have the AFC then I wouldn't bother investing in a standard cyclone. The RM2 is just as good if not better, and cheaper.
Based on what you say and what Chowderhead told me the other day, I would agree with you. I like the LP RM too. I do like being able to just pull the top off the Cyclone to check things out.

I have the RM2, the regular cyclone and the AFC cap for the cyclone. They are both excellent atomizers. If you are into dual coils the cyclone with the AFC cap is the way to go. With a single coil I prefer the RM2 as my ADV. I usually vape coils that are between .6 and .8 ohms and prefer the vape of the RM2. Understand that this is purely my personal preference and the difference is very small. For all of you who are going crazy looking for a BF cyclone hoping to achieve a major difference in the vape I don't think you will. If you want the cyclone because of appearance or because it is SS that's a different matter. Just my opinion.

Honestly both are great atomizers but for different people. The rm2 is a good all around single coil atty, so is the cyclone with the stock cap. I vape quality I might give a slight edge to the cyclone for build quality and better layout. My dislike of the rm2 stems from not having enough room tho neatly let my wick touch the deck, posts are on the edges of the deck so can either use a coil with a long leg and a short leg with the coil offset or build wide coils with large gaps in between the wraps. Neither of which are ideal.

The cyclone (stock cap) and the Rm2 both have similarly limited airflow in stock configuration which may be a plus to those that like that cigarette tight draw, I do not. When the AFC cap the Cyclone became a great atomizer. The small yet well laid out deck and airflow that will suit almost anyone. In my humble opinion the Cyclone is a hard act to beat.

I hear a lot of people complaining abou the 2mm set screw coil screws being Allen grub screws and how you must replace them with Phillips headed screws, I will never understand dumbing down a great product so you don't have to evolve. Buy a .035 or .9mm (they are the same thing but sold both ways) driver, Hudy, MIP, etc and embrace the precision of the system. I will agree the supplied Allen wrench sucks but with the correct driver it becomes a pleasure to re-coil. Besides the driver will also give you a coil wrapping option, personally I have a Hudy with a 1.8mm shaft that I use for all of my coils (not sure if you would call that a micro, nano, medium coil but it works great for me. I will post a link to the one I use.

There is a huge difference between the RM2 and the cylone.

The cyclone is for Monday, Wednesday, Friday

The RM2 is for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

On Sunday I vape another mod to remind me how much everything else sucks compared to the Reo.

In all honesty the RM2 performs awesome, looks great on the reo and personally I think that $40 ($43? idk) for a hand crafted RDA is extremely fair.

The cyclone is a bit more expensive if you can ever find a BF one and it works great. Personally I use the cyclone more but not because its that much better just because I own a Reo. Reo means fill your bottle and go and don't mess around with it too much. Just too lazy to take the atty off lol.

I am not into lung hits and all that "agro" vaping so I sold my cyclone AFC cap within a day but it's great for those that like to adjust the airflow and take big lung inhales.

If you have the extra bucks I would highly recommend you to get both. If you are lazy and hate replacing stuff on your reo make sure to also get 2 reos so you have one for each RDA.

Thanks, I ordered a driver from ebay so I can embrace the precision.

Exactly, I love them both. Imo, they both give the same intense flavor but the sensors on my earth suit are 52 years old so perhaps another may perceive a slight difference. Regardless, I like the cyclone because it's SS and the rm2 because its, umm... brass. :)

Let's face it, brass just looks killer on the olive drab.

I have rm2s and a cyclone with afc. I like them both a lot. I love the afc cyclone for the adjustable airflow, the ss construction and ease of building, plus it looks so cool with the black afc cap :) But is it worth the amount of money paid for it? I don't think so, and I won't buy another unless I find a really good deal on it. My rm2s function beautifully, give me great vapor quality and taste, and easy to build. I just drill out the air hole to my desired air requirements and I'm good to go. I have an IGO on another mod just to go through some juices I have that I won't set up a Reo for, and I love the IGO. I will buy on of Rob's bf igos to give that a try as well. So, if you can afford one, by all means get a cycone, but for the money, hard to beat the rm2.

I just received a cyclone BF with AFC. It seems to me though it's easier to squonk with the cyclone compare to the Rm2. With the Rm2 I'd have to press hard on the bottle to make sure my coil is wet enough. With the cyclone that seems easier and I don't need to squonk as much. Maybe it's just me though. I also like that I can just press the top cap down to match the air hole to the coil compare to twisting the Rm2 top cap--I'm just lazy I guess :) love both and I'm happy that I got both now.

Edit: forgot mention the ability to adjust airflow on the fly to get a different kind of vape/draw throughout the day and depend on the eliquid is a very nice bonus also ;)
