So I just bought tickets to fly to New Mexico to see my best friend that moved there almost 2 years ago. I've been reading the 'travel' section in the main ECF forums and I know I shouldn't be too concerned, but I still am:oops:
Not going till the second week of March and it's only a four hour flight, but I don't know if I have the cojones to stealth vape on a plane:D

I'd do it just to start up conversations with the busy hot stewardesses.

I take it you haven't flown in a while!

plantlvr - I vaped in first class (free upgrades) both ways on AA to Minneapolis a couple of weeks ago. I was using my BB and no one said a word. Of course, I wasn't blowing plumes of vapor, but I didn't conceal anything, either.

AA has e-cigs listed in their forbidden devices, but they bury it down deep. If the flight attendant says to stop, you have to do it. I've never run into one who cared and I know they've seen me.

I don't fly often, because it's always very miserable. I'd much rather drive. I'm 6'6" so there's no room for me. I flew to Barcelona from California once, it was eleven and a half hours of hell.

Been thinking about that as well. headed for Cozumel on Wed. I still have some nic gum & will probably just use that.

Must be spring fever - we are headed for Puerto Vallarta next Saturday! I will be carrying my VK but will probably bring a few Nicorettes just for grins. 80's and sunny is gonna feel gooooooooooooooooooooood! :D

I fly every week for work. Unfortunately it's always on Delta and they don't allow vaping on the plane. I just go into the restroom and take a few good throat hits and I'm back in my seat. Always a fresh battery and always a higher mg.

Cincy is a TSA training airport and I've never had a problem carrying 4 or 5 batteries in my carry on. Once inside security I put a battery in my pants pocket with a carto and I'm good to go.

Thanks everyone, feel much better! Being able to vape on the plane would rock but I have an irrational fear of all my V4L gear being confiscated. I'm a worry wart can ya tell?

I had all my gear in my big purse, they didn't even look at it. They were too ...... at me for forgetting a bottle of water in it. You could try that ;)

It really was an accident.

Or a toe-tag.

Doing anything suspicious on a plane these days, especially something that looks like smoke, is a good way to catch a chronic case of the Beatins-to-Deaths. Heck, I'd be in line to take my turn, or selling tickets for turns to play "kick the corpse". Not worth taking the risk that it's a belligerent vapor instead of someone trying to set their crotch on fire. ;)
