http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/234886-d-n-g-e-r-100mg-nicotine-liquid.html

In the thread above the person says some liquids may be way off when it comes to Nic content. I wanted to reply to the thread and ask a question but it looks like no one can reply. So I am asking here.

I have been vaping and making my own for a short time and found the thread listed above thru a net search, so I registered. Safety comes first when I make my juice, I use rubber gloves and keep my Nicotine bottle out of reach so no one but me can access it.

My question is, it looks like the OP of this thread is saying one US company has liquid that test way off. The op said," This material should be avoided as it is not of merchantable quality.". How can we avoid it if we don't know who makes it. Anyone know what the name is. The only info on the thread is a dig to buy a Nicotine test kit.

If your biggest concern is 'Safety first,' why not purchase the testing kit? If a nicotine base tests out of a reasonable range for what you had ordered, take it up with the supplier.

I don't think nicotine base is routinely reported to be off from what is specified.

So you are recommending to anyone that vapes, buy a test kit, is that right?

Anyone who buys consentrated NIC or regular juice really has no idea if the NIC content marked on the bottle is correct or 2-3 times. Say someone buys a 16mg bottle of juice from a tobacco store or online, from what the other thread says, it could be 2 or 3 times 16mg, that would be bad.

If this is true then there should be a list somewhere, peoples health are at stake. If its not true then being honest here not trying to upset anyone, sounds like the thread is just a dig to sell NIC kits.

That post is from 10/27/2011. There was a Concentrated Nic vendor at the time who was selling the wrongly tested nic.

I buy my 100mg nic from Wizard Labs, and they test their Nic. Fear not, just buy from a reputed vendor and you will be all set.

tks for that tip, I appreciate it. I buy V2 carts when the old ones where out, never tryed anyone elses. And I know at V2's site they test their juices, would be wise for any company to post that their Nic's are tested. I don't get my juice supplies from V2, they don't sell consentrarte. But I will check Wizard labs out, tks again

Yes I remember when people were getting nic that was way above the ordered amount. Caused quite a stir within the industry and, in a way, was good because it sent out a warning shot to ALL vendors of flavorless nic to get their act together otherwise the Govt would do it for them. Back then and even now I test ALL my juice. As for vendors you can trust...generally those that are ECF verified/ listed are trustworthy. RTSVapes and Wizard Labs are good because they've always gone the extra mile in ensuring quality control and proper procedures/ testing.

Thats good to hear, i just placed a order form wizard labs should be here in the morning, i know alot of people here use them with out problems so i figured i give them a shot.

I was just at the Wizard Lab site, every item I added to cart said it was out of stock. Tryed the 100mg it was OOS on 60ml,120ml,250ml, so I tryed 60mg and they also was also OOS. I even checked their Vanilla flavoring out and it said OOS. Are they OOS on everyting or do I have to have a account setup before it shows not OOS.

No, they are out of most nic concentrations at this time and many flavorings. They moved recently and upon reopening got flooded with orders, so there will be some delay while they replenish stock. I don't think there's a definite date as of yet, but you can use the "Notify Me" button below the item you're interested in and they'll email you when it's available.

I have been dealing with wizard labs for quite awhile now and they are excellent both on products and customer svc. They recently moved and are backlogged. I have always received orders timely and once they even called about a mistake on my nic % which I hadn't specified. My orders come very well packaged and have never had a problem.

if you just placed your order expect a good 4 weeks for them to even get to processing it i am still waiting for my nic juice from the 12 and was told i have a 3 week wait until they get my order.

Edit: realize this sounds like i am critisizing them and i am not they have been very nice with me even when i called and badgered them what was up lol. Very nice people and they explained to me they are just that backlogged on orders. :D

Regarding the post linked to by the OP, I well remember that controversy. It related to unflavored 100mg nic liquid from one vendor who, until that point, seemed to have a reasonable reputation as a supplier to the DIY juice enthusiast market.

Furthermore, IIRC, once independent testing had established the batch numbers involved, the supplier offered to recall and refund as well as shutting down their own production to overhaul their testing regime. I won't mention the supplier by name as, I'm sure, the DIY veterans reading this know who it's about. Suffice it to say, that supplier is still in business but now offers public proof of the results of each batch produced and tested to those who wish to purchase.

In a nutshell - know what you're buying by doing your due diligence. Research the supplier and elicit information on them from other customers via ECF.

Vapingzone has 10% off entire site till Sunday 11:59pm. 10off is the code
Wizard is waiting for the boat.
RTSVAPES doesn't have to wait on boat. They have flavors by TFA and FA. The nic is Made in the USA. They have glass bottles Made in the USA. Wizard is good for finding a flavor you like in 8ml from TFA, but once you do, its much cheaper at RTSVAPES in the 120ml bottle.
I have bought from Wizard and RTS three times each now, they both ship in boxes, Vapingzone does also. But some places don't.
My first bottle of 100mg/ml nic was from RTS. Then I tryed Wizard. At the end of Nov. I bought both for the freezer and compared them side by side for clarity....no difference that I could see. For me, the RTS gives more TH. At the end of Dec. RTS had a 20% off sale and I couldn't pass up more nic, which made it real close to the Wizard price.
For anyone interested in DIY, get on the vendors e-mail list for sales.
