Prettycat, I empathize. I got online to review my claims for this year. Just by accident I noticed a recent $800+ procedure claim that my insurance paid my doctor........that was never performed. The insurance already paid the "provider". I spent a boatload of time on the phone with these people, needless to say. As rkayw knows, you simply cannot trust people to follow through, do things right or do things fairly. You've got to nag, nag, nag.

DD's lawyer is reviewing all bills. If the provider didn't send a itemized bill, he requested one. Some of the charges are questionable, to say the least. Like band-aides. Really!? I was there, they did not put a single band-aide on her. Nickle and dime bogus charges make them a boat load of money from ppl that don't look at the charges. Tylenol. Yeah right! Not for her injuries.

Reminds me of when I had my hysterectomy. Got the itemized bill and they charged me for a breast pump. Yeah...that charge didn't fly!! LOL

Other than post op nausea/vomiting...everything went okay with his surgery. They did have a slight problem with his blood oxygen level at first but the anesthesiologist got it regulated in a snap, so the doc reported.

He is on his way home now, and out of school until after the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Last of the surgeries. Whew!! :D
