SNM - breakfastchef is over egging it a bit!

The first few days are difficult as you are withdrawing from a number of chemicals that are present in smoke. Make sure you drink a lot of water or soda as the PG/VG tends to dry your throat out and hold the inhalation for longer in your lungs than you would have done with a turd (analog = ....-log = turd). This will give you the neccessary Carbon Monoxide.

If not, sniff some car exhausts or move into a dodgy privately run flat with a gas boiler!!

Keep going - It will get better!!

I have just started also and it has been 8 awesome days without withdrawals. Keep your batteries charged and a really good liquid with you at all times. I must say that I did not freak out at all and I smoked for 27 years. This is the first time I ever tried quitting and it works. One day at a time you will do it. I use a High strength coffee or cappuccino 24mg in a Joye 510

The 510 works brill if you smoked pre-packaged turds. If you were a roll-up smoker like myself, try the 901 - much more 'refined'!!

I am useing 24 with a 510 as well:cool:

It does get easier, I have been without analogs for 4+ months. Received my first PV July 1st, threw out my analogs and really stuck to using the PV. I smoked a pack and a half a day for about 18 years and to make it worse I was a menthol smoker. I haven't had a single analog since I switched. That's not to say that I don't get cravings from time to time, but once your sense of smell returns you can smell an analog half way across a parking lot and it doesn't smell pleasant!!!

Withdrawal sucks but it won't last forever. We're here for you if we can help.

Today is also my first day. Actually tonight since I got my 510 this afternoon. I didn't start to use it until I got home this evening. I absolutely love this. It's only been 2 hrs since I've had an analog but I'm pretty sure I'll make it through the night. My only upset is that I'm a menthol smoker and my carts are not. I have some menthol juice so I'm just waiting till this cart gets dry to try it. All in all it's not so bad not having the menthol. Being a smoker for 40 years and never trying to quit, I'm thinking if I wake up tomorrow and don't put a cig in my mouth, I will have witnessed a miracle. Good luck, with all the help on this site, I know we can kick the analogs to the curb. Happy vaping :thumb:

I am on day 24, there have been a few rough days.. but I can honestly say, if I had bought the Silver Bullet from day one, with the batteries to go 6V (which is what I am using now and LOVING IT) I would have never had a craving at all.. Its blowing my mind.. try to get a HV mod before you go back!

As you can tell withdrawl syptoms vary by user and I have seen them all. if you must have an analog dont feel bad.. I had a copule before I actually gave it up completely..

The trick is to go in with an open mind and the cravings will pass. you will start to love diffrent flavors and you will larn to hate the taste and the smell of the analogs.. keep it up and dont forget to get spares (atty's and Batteries) and dont be afraid of trying diffrent e-cigs...

Put my pack in the garbage can June 6th, and haven't turned back myself. If I remember correctly the first week or so I could not put my 510 down, because I would crave an ....-log (love that) but the 510 helped me through it. Although after my third full day of no analogs I attempted to have one (marlboro smooth 100, a friend had also my old smokes) I made about 3 puffs and the taste was horrific

Day 6 here, what has helped me (sounds very silly) grab an empty pill bottle (or any empty bottle) and shove some smoked cig butts in it.... (put them out first!!lol)

When you have a craving, pop the top and smell your bottle!!
Even after a day of not smoking, all that nasty smell of dirty smoke trapped in one little bottle is absolutely disgusting!!

Just and idea though...
