Good for you SNM!

I found that it helped with the times I was having a craving for a ciggy by using 28mg liquid in a separate and specific flavor (Menthol worked great for me to kill off cravings, and I'd never smoked menthol, but this gave me that big throat hit feeling) then I went back down to 12 mg (cappuccino or a tobacco flavor) for all day vaping. If you don't like menthol, choose a flavor that is big like Cherry high mg (which works well with a tobacco flavor and you can put it in the same cart).

I'm coming up on 8 months. These do work if you really want to quit... keep at it and let us know how you are doing!

I did have to increase the nicotine in the liquid. My carts came with 16 mg and I now refill with 24 mg. liquid. I also have a little 36 mg on hand.

If need be, you can add other sources of nicotine. I was using about 8 pieces of nicotine gum per day and smoking 10 analogs when I stopped the analogs and switched over to vaping. I'm still using about 6 pieces of nicotine gum.

Just vape until you are sick of vaping, then vape some more :)
Just have it in your head that it will save your life and no amount of vaping can compare to the damage you were doing to yourself. and everything will be fine.
I'm over 105 days analogue free and not one iota of craving for one neither. I'm done with tobacco for good.

YOur doing awesome! My first 3 days I smoked a analog in the morning and I also made the deal with myself that I would vape for 10 minutes and I didnt want one. I did however and still do keep 36mg for mornings, high stress situations and when I am going a while without vaping. If I am at home I use 18-24mg. I agree with DVAP you will find your nicotine strength you need...so experiment until you feel you dont need them anymore. I think it has been 3 months now! I do use the big battery model and a passthrough with me at all times so my ecig never dies....It is SO WORTH IT!!! I can smell, I dont smell, and I can breath better and I love this!!

I have ordered my first e-cig from e-cigarette-usa, a J-510 manual with 16mg e-liquid. What is tea- bag mod? And is there anything else I should get for when the big day arrives?
I have smoked for 30 years, marlboro 100's then to the med 100's. Any advice out there will be taken into serious consideration.

Just make sure you have a few spare atomizers and batteries on the touchline, so that you don't run out if there are any malfunctions :)

Sorry about the blow out but good for you not giving in to temptation. I'm proud of you!

Don't give up hope. The first week is the hardest, or it was for me. I cheated the first week by having an analog after breakfast of coffee, another at lunch and then one after supper. I did this for almost a week. From 2 packs a day to three a day. Now that is a start. The next week I still had one in the morning, but then skipped the lunch and vaped through it. The third week I was done, I vaped heavily and when I tried an analog it tasted terrible, hurt my throat, lungs, and just stunk. Now I'm going on month 4.
No one here should tell you it's easy. You made the first step, now you just need to refine your vaping (maybe going up in mg at first) until you get what your body needs at first. After 30 plus years of the nasty habit for me, the last few months have been smooth sailing.

Good Luck.

I find that the first few days it take some adjustment, but it is much better than anything else I've tried.. patches, etc. If your having strong cravings for a normal cigarette you might want to consider upping the dosage of nicotine... it could be your not getting enough.... What is the dosage per ml your using & how much do you vape of it? And how many normal cigarettes did you smoke before you quit? May want to try heaver vaping... with thicker dense vapor.
