My normal morning consists of numerous cups of coffee and power smoking analogs.
Today was my 1st morn without the analogs.. routine of stepping out to the patio, lung several down, swill the joe and good to go..

Well, kept the normal thangy but this time with my Blu... all went well for awhile and then the URGE kicked in. Kicked in hard.
Power puff'd on the Blu..wasn't working.
These are only 18 mg and I think I'll need to up it to 24.

I feel such guilt, cause I puffed on a analog ...... couple 'o drags. Guilty as sin.

But, the good thing is, by now at this time during my day I would have lunged down around at least 6/7 analogs.
Not great, but working through it.

I remember day 1 and 2 fondly. Day 1 had two analogs on my way to work the normal routine, then I vaped all day at my desk, got off work got going on the road and lite up an analog ended up stubbing out about halfway, I could stand the taste, the juice was way better tasting (it was TotallyWickeds Camel @ 24mg). Woke up the next day grabbed the analogs and went to have one and stubbed it out after two puffs, went and found the ecig (a borrowed Buzzpro) and never looked back.

Anymore I only get the craving for an analog when drinking around others who i've yet to convert to vaping.

Keep with it! you can do it!

Good luck, you can do it. I agree, vaping might satisfy a little bit more if you take a step up in the battery department. Although I was pretty happy with KR808 batteries for quite a while when I first started. A lot of people start out splitting time between analogs and ecigs at first though, so don't beat yourself up about it! Lot of cool people on here to answer any questions!

ATTA GO!!!
DO NOT....REPEAT.....DO NOT lay a guilt trip on yourself if you slip up and "light up" occasionally...Not everyone can lay the stinkies down and KEEP them down....Just congratulate yourself EVERY time you VAPE....INSTEAD of smoke!!
The basic ECF mantra is: It's NOT how many cigarettes you've smoked...It's how many you HAVEN'T!!:D
Suggest you STRONGLY consider an upgrade to your vaping arsenal, though......Blu will work, but they're weak - low battery life, carts run dry quickly and are pricey....for the price of the Blu Starter Kit you can outfit yourself with a GOOD setup....most online vendors offer some form of "starter kit" for around $50-$60 (I got mine at MyVaporStore) and you can select from different types of batteries, tanks, etc.
From you sig, I'll wager you NOW reside in AZ....If you're still in Thailand, you may be limited to what vaping supplies you can purchase...
GOOD LUCK!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Yeah. I was able to cut down to half as many cigarettes with an 808 (V2 cigs), but never quit until I stepped up to an eGo Twist - it has been 6 weeks now and I'm good to go.

That's right.

If I were in a situation where my backups for my backups failed...I'd smoke a real cigarette, almost certainly - for the nicotine. I don't think that I'd enjoy it, though. It would probably reinforce that ecigs are so much better. I wouldn't feel bad about smoking a cigarette, though; I would feel bad about not being prepared!

Welcome,
You may need a device with a little extra power as well as upping the nic content.

I'll second that, for sure. I've tried disposables plenty and trust me, there's just no comparison to the satisfaction you get from a mod. Even a regular eGO is leaps beyond. eGO Twist? Now you're talking.

haha, stick wih it, i did the same thing the first time i switched to vaping and it took me approximately 2 hours to be ready to tourture and main the first person who looked at me funny haha (different pen but same 18mg an i was almost a chain smoker) i ended up having a cheeky wiff here an their and ended up having to stop vaping for a while cause my battery charger broke after 4 bloody charges and i cant buy them locally) but the second time i tried, i stopped wiffing and started vaping half way through the day, the next morning was easier that any other time i had tried to quit and not im on my 8th day, yes im a chain vaper but i mixed my 18mg tobac with a zero nic marbro 2 days ago an im not vaping anymore than before i lowered the nikky. maybe you should try again or transit into vaping a little slower by half smoking, keep it to just 1-2 in the morning and 1-2 after dinner for a few days, you might find it easier doing it that way. good luck =) x

Seriously, nampla, no more guilt. I actually found that forcing myself to totally switch all at once sabotaged me. Once I laid off the guilt and too high expectations the transition just happened naturally and much easier. Every day I smoked less until I was going a couple days in a row with no smokes and realized I just didn't want them anymore. Took about 3weeks once I gave myself a break.
I would also highly recommend a device upgrade. Going from an 808 to a twist really helped my efforts.
Good luck and let us know how you're doing!

Congrats on the start!! I used blu, V2 and a few other cig a likes initially. It just was not quite enough and I did not quit successfully ....at all! LOL. I got an ego and a winder VV some tasty juice in 24 to start and just dropped to 18 last week. Until I got serious with the flavors and the batteries - I couldn't get past having at least a stinky here and there on a cig a like - although I was still celebrating daily victories of only having a few stinkies! I celebrated EVERY cigarette I skipped :) you should too!!

I smoked stinkies up until I had to buy another pack. I refused. Still hard to do. I walk into my store and want to say...ohhh..just throw a pack of Pall Mall into the bag...but don't. Everytime. It's been 3 weeks and hopefully that feeling will ease off. But I will not buy a pack. NOPE (Not One Puff Ever)...Feels great. Like I'm back in control...

The first time I started vaping I used a cig-a-like and was able to quit but unable to STAY quit. This time I decided to bite the bullet and go big or go home! I bought myself a nice Ego kit a couple of extra heads and some different types of juices. the difference in my vapor satisfaction was like night and day!!!!!
Eureka!
Six weeks later I was shopping for a Provari. lol If the ego was good then the Provari had to be great, right? Got my Provari and I am just a happy camper for sure. :vapor: Tons of billowing clouds and not a stinky in sight.
I am not saying you have to buy a Provari but I do think you would fare better with a more powerful system.

note[I also own an Evic and Vamo ] both good MODS

I dont know if this helps but in my case, I focused on how much nicer vaping was compared to smoking. Better taste, no smell and not having to outside all the times for example. I can vape watching a movie in my sitting room and while I'm working in front of the computer. I'm smoke free since december and a very very happy man :)
Dont get upset because you had a couple, you still had less than usual.
Good luck with it

I know how you feel but believe me it just does not happen instantly! It took me 2 months to be totally off anologs and I would usually have 3 over the course of 2 days which was great compared to a pack a day! You may need higher level of nic to start but I think the real key is finding the right juice! Just keep telling yourself how many you have not had....after a few weeks I saw how many I did not smoke and it was a wake up call for me!. Get a app or what some have at bottom of the post showing how many you have not had and I believe that will be motivating for you! It does it for me!
