Well today is my 3rd day without any cigarettes. I started vaping not to long ago and started cutting down little by little. 3 days ago I figured it was about that time finally let them go for good. I gotta say the first day was pretty difficult, but I dont know how I would have done it without my e-cig. When I really start craving a cig I come on here and look at everyone else in the same situation. I love that we can connect here and help eachother out. For the most part, beating the habit has gotten easier every day. I just gotta say thank you to this forum and e-cig industry as a whole, it saved my life! :vapor:

Congrats on making the switch and welcome to the ECF! The first few days are the hardest, but it sounds like you are off to a great start. Try to go a day without a smoke and then keep thinking how great it feels to break those chains. Getting over a few of the major trigger times was the hardest for me, but I never looked back after that. It's been a little over three years now.

Yay, another convert and new forum user like me. Tho, I dived right in. After I got my KR808 kit and was shown how to fill the carto, I came home had one traditional cigarette (still not sold on calling them analogs, since most ecigs aren't "digital" but hey to each their own) and that was it. I find it fitting that my conversion day was 4 May. May the Fourth be with me. :p
I think it helps that I really wanted this. For both health and fiscal reasons. I'm already thinking of the great vacation options I can do with all the money I will save. Have even done up and excel spreadsheet to help me monitor my costs, and will slowly add in some formulas to show my savings as well. The ADD side of me needs something like this to keep me interested in the idea of it. And I have a feeling my ADD will make me a hobbiest/modder as well over time. But we shall see. For now I'm just happy to be smoke free.

I have spent way to much money on hardware & juices but I have also made it through the first month smoke free since I was 20 years old. I have 3-4 different PVs but they all serve a purpose. I carry 650 mah eGo's at work as they are compact, have a Lavatube clone for home, and I have an epower 14650 coming in to supplement the eGo as I like the idea of non-proprietary batteries. The spending has slowed some as I have hardware and backups and now I'm stocking up on juice and DIY supplies...
