I've successfully quit smoking and have been vaping for 37 days now

, but ever since I started I feel that I don't get the same satisfaction and nicotine rush as I did with cigarettes. I started on 6 mg and went to 9 mg, the throat hit gets a bit harsh for me which is fine, but I don't feel the same satisfaction. I find that I use the vape way more than I did cigarettes and I don't want to go to 12 mg because the throat hit will be stronger than the 9 mg (though I've never tried it). so any tips on what to do? thanks.
P.S. A little background on my smoking history: I used to smoke 5-6 cigarettes a day (Marlboro Medium), My current vape is the Aspire Spryte.
Sorry, I don't seem to post on here every day, but a bit of information might help you understand what's going on. I usually write long posts, so I'll try and make this brief.
Cigarette smoking is different than vaping. Cigarettes hold a whole concoction of chemicals, and some of those chemicals interact with each other to alter how the chemical works. Ammonia is one chemical that is in a cigarette, and it's mainly used in the paper of the cigarettes. They chose ammonia as the binder in the paper because ammonia slows the breakdown of nicotine in your bloodstream. So, when you take a puff of a cigarette, the nicotine stays in your system longer, and breaks down slower.
Now in a vaping device, Nicotine is just that... nicotine. No ammonia to freebase (slow down) the nicotine. That is probably what
@Falconeer is experiencing in his pipe thread, since pipes don't contain the ammonia that is in a cigarette paper (hope you're reading this Falconeer). Chain vaping is a normal reaction, and most of us have experienced the same thing when we first started. I smoked a pack a day, and would vape, and only smoke when I had to. Went from a pack per day to 3 per day overnight by dual using, and over the next 2-3 months lowered it down to 0. Over the 6 months after that, I started lowering the nicotine even further and reducing the amount of vaping I have done.
So for now, I would say it's ok to chain vape. If it becomes a problem in crowded areas, use a pod system or go for a more stealthier approach. The most important part of vaping, is you're not smoking. The urge to smoke a regular cigarette should die slowly, and it will still take effort to quit.. just not nearly as much as cold turkey without vaping... If you've done 8 days without a cigarette, push yourself to go longer without one... Chain vaping is ok... when you no longer feel the urge to have a cigarette (it will happen eventually), THEN you should be concerned with lowering the nicotine and frequency.
