Decided to do mine today after seeing how good they can look and really happy with it, yes the center post is chrome plated but getting some SS posts and glass tanks soon which should make it a top class atty.

From a co-op in UK, they're coming from Chinese Manufacturer and glass tanks from someone locally.

Any idea if the posts will be available to any Aga resellers or was that a special arrangement?
That looks pretty sharp. I was just going to leave mine like it is but now you got me liking the polished look. Good job with the atty, especially free hand.

as far as I know they're coming from the original manufacturers of the Aga-T so my guess is they will become available everywhere. I'll ask the man running the co-op he's also a member here.

Just did one I purchased off the classies, Instead off the 8/32 screw I used a tank carto screwed into the threads and then chucked in a drill press. Seems the center post is the same thread size as a 510 connector or at least close enough.
AGA-T rev 1 revisited:
Added a different o-ring to make the cap not so hard to remove - so I decided that I didn't need the small bit of knurling to help remove it.
Here it is compared to the original mod I did. Also took down the cap since the rev 1 AGA has a pretty thick cap. Refinished in satin.

Same here..... tried getting rid of all the "...'s", but no joy. I'd really like to get my hands on a SS center post if possible.
That's because ECF doesn't like safer|nospace|cigs.co.uk for some reason. I can't get the images on their site to load properly for me on any browser. I don't know WtheF is up with that.
