Dead shipments ,plz help ?

Both are going to Egypt and both are stuck in USA since 07 Feb. Why ? And how ?

USPS is very bad at updating track and confirm, especially for international mail. Usually they don't. Luckily Where I am in Japan I can track any parcel posted TO Japan from the Japan EMS webisite as soon as it is scanned. Not sure if Egypt has that facility?
Anyway, don't worry it is on it's way.

A lot of countries, including most I've lived in, don't do well with USPS tracking. My packages to Korea show on tracking as "in the US" until they get to my house, and sometimes for several days after I have them.

Exactly what dragon said I live in Canada and have called USPS about this very thing it will show the initial info on there site but then seems to fall off tgere radar next thing it is at your door. Its all good

Thank you all so much. I also expected that tracking has just stopped and package maybe here now!

I have the same situation myself Youmadbrah. It would be helpful if USPS at least updated when the package arrives in the destination country.

What I meant to say was, that even though USPS doesn't update, I can still track it from my side as soon as it is scanned from another country (not only on arrival here, but from the time it is scanned THERE). What can I say, Japan is more advanced than the US? Lol

lol so literally 20 minutes after i posted my comment, i get a knock at the door and my package arrived. Yay!
Website is still showing the package as in Minnesota USA though.

I also called and found that it is held in customs ((
Thats my 4th package that is held in custom.

Usps tracking isnt much better for packages shipped in the US either. Taking up the mailman stalker hobby!
