Actually Dr Gummy they lowered the price to 7 dollars...
My Modumust has hit a snag...A supplier I purchased metal from to weld metal cases from gave me the wrong type of metal and it will not weld I would have to build a DC welder as they gave me aluminum instead of the steel I asked for...

IMHO, you have two choices:
1) Contact the vendor and explain what happened; they'll probably correct the mistake.
2) Start getting the parts together and build a DC welder.
I'd definitely go with #2, seeing as you can never have enough tools.
BTW - simple DC welder Batteries + Jumpercables = DC Welder

What size capacitor would be good for welding aluminum? And could you post a link to the supplier??
You would have to do a google search to figure out what would work best. I have not done it personally but I have seen people do it for welding contacts on batteries and such. I am "guessing" you would size the capacitor to what voltage and amperage you want to flow to make the weld penetrate. You have to figure the math to see how much amperage you would flash when shorting the cap. Also remember it takes a while to charge up a cap so it's not ideal for doing repetitive work. Only for quicky diy stuff.

They would not have liked my portable golf course welder then. when equipment on the course would break I would do emergency welding with a golf car and jumper cables that I had put a welding rod holder onto one end. Need a hotter weld, grab another battery.

One Miller TIG welder. Take as ofter as needed. may substitute for generic brands if needed.
As long as it is known that results and side effects may vary with the generic RX
AC wire feed welder no gas(don't have a tank)..wont do aluminum I believe...and I'm don't have enough car batteries...supposed to be mild stainless in a pattern like diamond plate...I was told its called checker plate...
and I would love to have one Dr Gummy but the wife would kill me...Uh oh I see her grabbing the cast iron skillet now...8-o

if the wire feeder has a gas hookup, would be cheaper to rent a small bottle... if not you can get a cheap 110 stick welder to run a tig rig off. arc ones are cheapish. a few people at work have one just for tig. BTW they are useless for stick welding, but they are cheap and i hear they run a tig rig great...
now i gotta issue gummy. i got a batt holder, and a 3x2x1 project box. and some ship yard ale... and i shaved the box down about 1/4", fits the hand better now. but ive been drinking, and realized that my drills at my dads. i could bore a small hole with a knife and use my hand reamer, but dont wanna...

and yeah the hand reamer is a nice tool. but i also need to find a nice button to to over my small tactile switch.. procrastination going on here... im so close to a VV box mod, with out any "kits" (cheaters
) im still kinda upset i couldnt salvage anything for a donor case. this first one is going to be a 9v VV, KIS-3R33S module based. my version of a puck. cheap, kinda easy to build. EASY batteries to get. my theory is, the proper 9v SHOULD, i repeat, SHOULD last as long as a pair of 10440s atleast...
btw... i noticed that a SR pen style atty @ 6v, man what a nice vape... a lil dripage of cash cap, MMMMMMM... can do 12 drips, no leakage, last a long time for dripping
