Today we mourn the passing,
Of Mr Adam Miser !
Now there are quite a few of you in the congregation,
Well , who may have considered him a bit of a sucker,
But My Friends I can tell you this could not be further from the truth,
Adam Miser lived a none too glamorous life,
Confined as he was to an iron lung at an early age,
It was this analogy that used to infuriate him,
" Wouldn't work in an iron lung"
His whole life he set about proving them wrong.
Often in intolerable conditions he ceaselessly toiled,
Sometimes boiling in his attempt to get the job done,
Constantly battling his mortal enemy
Luthium Iron, a bit of a slacker ,
Who sometimes liked to pass the buck to poor Adam.
We who knew Adam Miser,
Those who knew the true character and cost of his ceaseless efforts,
Will mourn him, Nay they will openly weep at his demise,
For Adam Miser was not an ordinary man ,
He was the benchmark for all who may follow in his cramped, steamy footsteps,
VALE ADAM MISER ... working class hero
