Well after looking at a ton of reviews and suggestions I've decided on the mini. So now for the next big step. The tank. Be buying the starter kit which come with 1 protank 2, seems to be alot of mixed reviews on them. Was wanting to grab a second tank. My preferred juice is the Halo menthol Subzero. Not sure how much a difference that will make. Not sure I want to hop into Rba being a noob and all. So looking for some suggestions for the mini. Prefer a decent size tank and not a mini tank

Hi grid, if you looking for something that is consistent and requires little fiddling I suggest having a look into carto tanks. great flavor, consistent performance, easy to use, disposable, cheap.. or so I'm told :p

for the record, I have not used one myself because I can't really source them locally too easy, so I use RBA's as it ends up being cheaper for me. but I would love to try them someday, and many experienced users will swear by them.

I think it's a good idea to start simple, then move up to RBA's whenever it feels right. Some people just don't have the time or patience for them. But there are lots of great options out there that are easy to learn and that will give you excellent performance if/when you decide to go that route. Good luck with the search, and enjoy the ride!

Thinking the Aspire Nautilus would be a great tank to try. Not a big fan of the PT, but they do work. My favorite tank on the Provari is the Flash-e-Vapor V2 The Flashi is a re-buildable, so may be beyond your skill set right now, but it is my absolute favorite rba to date.

Good luck and have fun with the Provari, it was my choice for a regulated mod and hasn't let me down at all. Lots of choices and types of atomizers to choose from, depends on the direction one is headed and the vape one desires. I tend to vape the Provari at max watts so rba's is the path I chose.

I tried a bunch of different bcc including ProTank2. IMO, too airy of a draw and cooler vape. I still use it, but not my fav. Love the carto tanks, last a long time and easy to use. So I +1 on those who have already recommended them.

Love both of my IBtanked and I got a Splash tank at a local B&M and it works great as well. I think you'll get a lot of different opinions on cartos tho. Top three are Smok, IKV and Boge.

Good luck and Congrats on ur ProVari!!!

:thumb: + 1 for a cartotank. Leave the rebuildables for later once you've had more experience.

IBTanked pyrex tanks will be the best choice for the money invested. Use my cartotank tutorial and you should be good to go. I recommend the 22mm diameter tanks, either in the halfling, standard, or XL length tanks depending upon the look you want and what length carto you wish to use. Get the Pro Ring beauty ring if you want the flush/flat top look on the Provari. Be sure to include the tank tool, too.

Protank may not be for everyone, but I'm still liking mine. The chrome on the non-removable tip has worn away and the copper substrate is showing at the tip. Yes, I have to insert a rolled up paper towel into the air tube to soak up the condensation every day or two if it gurgles, but I get reasonably good taste and it's easy to refill from a pocket sized 3ml bottle when I'm on the go.

It's a nice fit on the Provari, too.

I would also recommend picking up a few different brands of carto's. Some brands taste and work better for some people then others. I always seem to get the best battery life out of the Provari mini with no extension using the standard 2.0 ohm single coil cartos. Anything higher or duel core alway's seems to run through the standard 18350 setup with a quickness.

Greetings, Gridhound; Some people do have issues with the PT2, but these clearomizers seem to work reliably for most people (in another thread there is a discussion about whether some of the troublesome ones are even genuine Kanger PT2s).

I use a Davide, which is basically a PT2 with aesthetic pretentions (it uses PT coils), and one thing I will say about it is that is provides an airy, cool vape. I happen to like these qualities a lot, but you may find this sort of vape not to your taste.

But clearomizers are inexpensive. If you're having difficulties with one type, or simply don't like it, put it in a drawer or give it to a friend who wants to quit smoking, and try something else.

Welcome to the forum btw.
