So I started vaping with an eGo-C upgrade kit. Still use it as my 'work vape' setup. A little over a month ago I upgraded to an eGo twist and mini-nova and was very impressed. So much so that I bought another twist and a couple of Kanger T3's which I like as much if not more than the novas. While the twist setups are completely satisfying, I have been wanting to get into a VV/VW battery mod. If I had the $$ there's about 8 different mods I'd love to try! There's no B&M stores anywhere near me and I only know one other vaper in town and he's still using regular eGo's so I have no way to check things out before I buy. After much research I have narrowed down the field to either a Vamo or a Tesla. Anyone out there have or tried one or both of these mods that can share some real-world experience and opinions? TIA! :D

Well, since you are enjoying your mangers, there is some bad news. Several of the APV's, such as the vamo, have the correct ego threading. However the top cap is to small the fit the danger. An adapter will have to be used. I have the sigelei zmax and love it. The top cap is large enough to fit the kanger. However, no ego threading. The latest and greatest version of the sigelei is supposed to have ego threading.
If you have not seen any of PBUSARDO's reviews on YouTube, I would recommend a look.

Going from a Twist/Spinner to a mod is similar to going from standard voltage to a Twist/Spinner honestly ... You'll definitely *FEEL that more consistent voltage under load ... very nice feeling indeed.

I personally don't like the look of the Tesla as much but I'm sure it's very similar to the Vamo/Zmax/CVI/ etc etc. Can't go wrong with either as an upgrade I'd say.

Button placement on the Tesla a bit odd and the Vamo has 3 different battery modes out of the box but it honestly comes down to budget and looks. If you like the look of the Tesla over the Vamo with all other things being equal ... get one. If you like the look of the Vamo and/or want more battery options ... grab the Vamo.

Grab a 510-Ego adapter as well. ;)
