I have been so busy I didn't realize I haven't really built for almost 2 months Sorry guys been taking care of other stuff. Hybrid Crow's on the Aeolus rda by @syntheticloud Quad 24g. Pattern is wrap/crow bend/wrap/crow bend/wrap/crow bend/wrap. On a 1/8th bit. Twisted it in the middle where they meet and created a wick stabilizer before entering the positive posthole.

Your work is awesome! I'd love to try some of these builds someday when I actually have a device that can handle it. I am pretty limited with my current 11w device. Keep up the great work man.
Dex, did your lace coil. Took a few dry runs but came out great. Using 0.8 ribbon makes it a little hot so need to get higher ohm wire. Any suggestions? Thanks for the inspiration. Here's to ya bro!
Here you go. It is instantaneous...too hot as I said. Sucks up all the juice in 2 bursts. Hits like a Mule.i want to see that lace fire

What's the resistance on that, WharfRat? :O I've been thinking about trying it on the Dark Horse with some .5 ribbon but idk... Seems like it'd still be insanely low resistance.
Did the fire video work? I am embarrassed to say I did not ohm it out. It has to be sub .1 which is really not cool. I will ohm it out when I can. I think 0.5 ribbon will work. I can get 2 to 3 good pulses before it dries out. I packed it with kgd to be safer. Not my cup of tea though. Still too hot. I have some 0.5 on order....it is really flavorful.
Another ongoing project that I tried to tackle so many times before and had no luck till now. This one is hand weaved type of heating element. "Woven" type build. Much harder than the fence type builds and probably the longest time I've ever built. No twists but all inserted. Its not perfect and a lil messy but found many ways to improve as I develop it more.
Another shot of the Woven heating element. I'll record a firing video of it since alot are asking. This was .9 flat ribbon and it ohmed out at .1 + or - .03 increments due to my ohm meter. Ramp is almost instant like the laces or tweenpost build so wicking HAS to be perfect. Thanks again for looking and watchout for a fire clip tonight or tomorrow.
